gets touch with Putonghua, then she prefers to speaking Putonghua.
Now my husband and I often speaks dialect, but she speaks Putonghua with us.

其实putonghua 和po tung wah都是对应一样的字，不论广东，台湾，还是大陆北京，
还是香港
大家的正式文体都是一样，只是发音不同而已。
谁是正统，谁是“方言”，只不过是相对而已。
陆共完全没有必要打压广东话，况且广东话有超过1亿人讲，你想灭就能灭得了？ |

You don't feel like part of the family when they speak their local dialect.
Ask your husband to speak Putonghua when you're around. If he has to
speak the dialect, then he needs to your translator to include you in the
conversation.
要讲普通话，不想娃学他们那边的土话（和普通话完全不一样，巨土！）而且他们那边
的人n和L，zh和ch的音根本分不清楚。我老公就很多字吐音不清楚，我绝不想娃也这样
。可是他们讲土话讲习惯了，就是改不了。我在的时候还好点，我不在的时候就说土话
，说了很多次也没用！怎么办啊？急死啦。

the subject. Language is a distinctive human form of communication,
a means of conveying complex information from one person to another.
The principles underlying language actually govern a large, varied
human behaviors. I think when using different language, people can
behave diferently. Even in China, it changes from province to province.
For example, comparing to Putonghua, Cantonese is much more flirtatious. :) |

Although I don't speak Beijing Mandarin as my native, I speak putonghua very
