我不需要椰蓉馅，所以那部分我想直接省略。但是“面包”部分是有whipping cream的
，不知道直接省略可行不。其他成分我都可以接受。
用料:
汤种：

另：想用all purpose flour揉出拉膜好像很困难。
-- 拉膜是什么东西？
设置一次dough,揉面20分钟，剩余时间是发面，这样出来的面好像烤不成面包。
-- 这样没问题。一般面包机dough一档会揉面两次，之间间隔一二十分钟，然后发。问
题是这个面不能直接放到烤箱烤。这个面团发到原来体积两倍大之后拿出来（大部分面
包机dough一档时间偏长）。拿出之后你可以做各种形状的面包，放入烤箱，用烤箱
raising dough 或者类似的档，100F，二次发酵二十分钟，然后300-350F烤。一定要二
次发酵。
那么，1。能用all purpose flour来烤面包吗？
-- 可以。Bread flour 更好，但all purpose flour也可以。
2。如果行，需要设置几次dough呢？

整个calendar year内是否有FSA coverage，而不在于是否有contribute到FSA。我们因
为有去年的$500 FSA balance rollover到今年，所以看来是不能enroll HSA了。我们
的HR看来也没理解对。
不过，是否有办法把我从spouse的FSA coverage “remove”出来？FSA账户上是可以把
我的名字去掉，但是似乎随时可以加回进去，所以这种操作应该不算“remove”
coverage。

存侥幸，以为自己也许可以躲过去。因为自己过去就有个fidelity的brokerage一年多
，而且smartcash还曾经给我寄信让我填W-8BEN我也填了寄回去，以为老用户也许会例
外，或者意外其它被关的是因为没有认真填写W-8BEN。
今天接到fidelity的电话，说尽管也受到了你的W-8BEN，由于for federal tax
purpose is a Non-resident Alien, 还是得关。必须要能够在12月31日前提交W-9（

其实明年我就是F1第6年也就是开始算成resident了，于是如实相告说还有20天我就是

发帖数: 241 | 20 这里实际上是19个账户，夫妻两人各开一个，有一个账户只能开一个。这所有的账户我
都不考虑direct deposit的奖励，只考虑利息，这里的direct deposit可以认为是ACH,
只要ACH成功了基本上都可以开SAVING账户。
第1个是Consumers Credit Union（http://www.myconsumers.org/personal/checking/free-rewards-checking.html），它的额度是每个账户20000美金，开户的话稍微有点麻烦，可能要上传收入证明。拿到5%利息的主要要求是用debit卡消费12次，和用它家的信用卡每月消费超过$1000，其它要求很容易满足，自己上网站看吧。如果收入超过7万的话，可以被批准一个好一点的credit卡（Visa Signature Cash Rebate Card）这个卡是现金返回的，如果收入不到7万美金的，被批准的是另外一个信用卡，返还的是点数，也可以用来买gift卡。

purpose一定要第一个开？是因为这卡只能在店内买，小二会查记录，不像我们在网上

关键还是没有撼动 Deresiewicz 的 between-the-line 的真正意思。
我觉得 Deresiewicz 的真正字里行间的意思是，不要拚娃自己的 12 年就为了
IVY 的入学标准，否则最大的危险就是 “little intellectual curiosity
and a stunted sense of purpose”。娃应该沿着娃自己 instinct 的

比如幼儿园老师夸俺家小娃拚 jigsaw puzzle 拚得好（相对而言），
幼儿园老师不知道的是，俺家小娃把其它娃喝咖啡追韩剧的功夫都
用在玩spatial toy 上了。。。
幼儿园老师还夸小娃有关动物的知识学得好（相对而言），幼儿园
老师不知道的是，俺家小娃把 PBS Kids Wild Kratts 的前几个
episode 看了个底朝天。。。
当然小娃还跟着大娃一起凑热闹看 PBS 的浅显版 cosmology，
这个幼儿园老师没夸过。。。
我觉得兴趣和 “sense of purpose” 才是第一推动力，因为兴趣
和 “sense of purpose” 决定小时数，以及该小时数里干啥。。。
很多人说小时数没用，其实很多还是小时数不够。。。俺家小娃，从
出生几个月开始玩最简单的 spatial toy，到现在刚满四岁不久，
1000 小时绝对是保守估计我觉得。。。这还不包括成千小时看/玩
其他的沙子 cross training 的附带效果。。。这个最终还是兴趣

的。。 。sense of purpose 没有达成一致或合理妥协，team work 多半就是愚蠢加勤
奋。。。当然更多的情况是傻鼻遇上傻鼻。。。
这也是为啥竞技体育的 team work，跟现实生活里，还是有相当差距的。。。因为竞技
体育比赛里的 sense of purpose 是直接给无二义的定义了。。。当然，假摔可能稍微
复杂点。。。

和鼓励孩子更 aggressive (in a decent way)。
不过另一方面，孩子们之间经常讨论的甚至攀比的东西之一就是 the sense of
purpose -- 这些孩子的视野很开阔，思想比我们当年要复杂得多 -- 这得益于海量的
阅读和 critical thinking 的训练。比如说班上孩子们讨论死亡，会从进化论，恐龙
灭绝和哺乳动物的兴起，恒星的生命历程和黑洞，死后灵魂，以及 harry potter 里的
那些生前死后的故事放在一起综合的讨论，nnd 我小学的时候肯定没有这么复杂的思想
，也不会和别人讨论这么沉重的话题。
单纯拼 performance 的孩子比较浮躁浅薄，容易波动和失去动力，走不远。

虎妈的心态，就是跟我们友谊村广大群众的心态，有本质区别。。。其本质
区别是，虎妈是让藤校来 define the sense of purpose，追着藤校去。
。。。或者说狠点，虎妈其实就是藤校制造的 zombie 娃。然后 zombie
继续造小 zombie 娃。。。
而我们友谊村广大群众主流，是我们每家自己根据自家的情况，来 define
自家独特的 sense of purpose，然后看着 sense of purpose 去 purchase
educational service。。。至于为啥州立是主流，因为大多数人的需求，
的确是从州立 purchase educational service 更常见也更合适。。。
当然对于 outliers，可能是藤校更合适。。。总之这是各家情况不同，

作为体育学渣娃，首先的认知，是基本不可能进入 competition track。
如果不可能进入 competition track，那么首先的 sense of purpose
是为啥要推娃。
当然，sense of purpose 各家有各家的理由。但是只要你还想赢，
那基本还是 competition track 的想法，也就是说，内心还是一颗
体育学霸而不是体育学渣的心。或者说，伪体育学渣。
真的体育学渣娃，比如我家大娃的游泳，所有的目标都是 average kids
或者 below average kids 花了小时数就能达到的 fixed target，
而不是跟其他娃 competition 的 moving target。并且根据我家
娃的具体情况具体 curve fitting。
换另一句狠话说，真正的体育学渣娃，从来不去想摘帽的问题。唯一
想的是，能够 reasonably 达到的程度，以及能从体育里 reasonably
得到啥的问题。
而还想摘帽的，也不是真正意义上的体育学渣娃了。

2009年8月，未到美国收到J1 ds2019表格，表格上日期 From 10.01.2009 to 10.01.
2010.（当时由于某原因10月份无法到达美，随后老板又寄第2张ds2019表格）
第2张ds2019表格：
表格上日期 From 11.01.2009 to 11.01.2010.
Purpose of this form: Amend previous form:program dates amended.
当时由于签证原因，2009年11月份底抵达美。
第3张表格：
表格上日期 From 11.01.2009 to 11.01.2012.
Purpose of this form:Extension an on-going program
请问，我申请case number的时候，有让list ds2019表格。我这种情况，只有第2张和
第3张是 抵美后的 ds2019表格，第一张要不要list呀？（第一张找不到了，不知道

答案：R01, R03, R21, K99/R00不需要是公民。其余需要。
但对R01，“It is recommended that applications are made while eligible as a
new investigator and early stage investigator.”也就是说博后还不够格。

purpose of this form 是start new program. 但是由于个人原因，没有来美国，因此
此DS2019表格实际无效。2012年我又申请另外一所大学，在这个学校给办的DS2019的
purpose of this form 是Amend previous form: program date(s) amended. 这个表
格的SEVIS number 和Program number 都与第一个不一样。我持这个表格入境美国，期
间经历延期和transfer换学校到现在。现在问题是，填DS3035表格时候我需要提供我的
第一个无效的DS2019表格的信息吗？ 因为只有这个表格的purpose of this form 是

indicate that you are currently employed (which should show your job title, your salary, and a brief description of your company); purpose 2 is to indicate that the employment relationship continues to exist (i.e., a long-term employment relationship). 新的 DS-160 表格取代了以前的 DS-156、DS-157 和 DS-158 等表格，只能在网上填
写。
DS-160 适用于除 K-1/2 (fiancee) 以及 E-1/2 (Treaty Trader) 的所有非移民签证
的申请。
在3月1日之前，申请人可以提交 DS-160 表格，也可以仍使用老的 DS-156 表格。找
不到 DS-157 和 DS-158 表格的，可以去参考本人的博文。
除了在线填表，非移民签证的申请还包括预约签证（购买电话卡）、交纳申请费和签证
面试。详情见另文。
注意事项： 取决于申请人的个人背景，填完表格所需的时间以小时计算。在填完表格
的过程当中，你会需要不时地存盘。当你不是在自己的计算机上（如网吧）操作时，别
忘了自备优盘。
