后来大家受不了,就出现了一些严肃媒体,报道都需要调查啥的,还有啥Pulitzer奖之
类。这样一来,产生了2种市场,一种是严肃媒体市场,大家也相信他们的报道NY
times, Washington Post,WSJ之类,他们占据高端,收费高,也就有钱雇人调查,维
持所谓的标准,因为需要调查,报道时间有lag。
另一种市场,就是小报市场,他们调查标准低,喜欢搞花边新闻,成本低,但是因为名
声问题,传播渠道只能是超市之类,收费便宜,雇人也差,但也能形成自己的低端市场
,只不过小报市场很难打入大报市场,毕竟市场已经细分,很少有人敢承认自己读小报
。不过他们因为成本低,标准低,报道可以很快,就像是新闻快餐。
随着网络的扩张,制造假新闻,花边新闻的成本无限下降,twitter,facebook之类又可
以无限面向市场,传播渠道成本也下降,这些假新闻又不断混淆视听,在网上打入原来
严肃媒体的市场,加上假新闻可以快速报道,有点类似H&M卖fast fashion,用料便宜
,但是快,卖的也便宜,就吸引很多消费者。

但是这次的后果是,选民现在连共和党自己的媒体都不信了,连个所谓的标准都没有了。
据媒体行业人说,美国以前所有媒体都是假新闻,遥远乱飞,后来媒体觉得不行,就有
了Pulitzer奖这种,市场发展到有严肃媒体和小报媒体的区别。严肃媒体愿意花钱调查
,有行业标准;小报媒体就是超市卖的那些,成本低,行业标准低。
共和党后来发现严肃媒体对自己不利,就给选民灌水说严肃媒体也不准,希望把严肃媒
体拉下马。
发展到今天,网络媒体成本更低,流通更方便,制作谣言更容易,所以很有可能媒体又
会回到以前假新闻年代。

You have to understand that Americans view China as a foreign country with
no mental baggages of ancient glory and past century's shame, without any of
the fervent patriotism and prepackaged national self-awareness and self-
insecurity that are deeply ingrained in chinese citizens, that which tend to
obfuscate objectivity and neutrality.
