材料/化学/电子方向，国内博士，博后2.5年，现美国20-30名大学博后。
40篇文章，一作10篇，全部英文，IF从2-40左右。一作IF>10的大概6篇左右，合作论文
中有2篇Nature子刊。论文大部分发表在Top 0.1-Top 1%的期刊上(based on total
citations)。在PL中99%的地方在讲第一作者的工作。我觉得讲合作的论文也是可以的
，但懒得去挖掘合作论文中的亮点了。好在第一作者的论文也有很多亮点。
引用：大概2000次左右。合作的论文中有几篇hot topic的文章，单篇引用好几个都在
300+。自己一作文章被引大概300次左右，有一篇100+。一作文章中有一篇被大牛写了
专门的2页highlight评价为“重大进展、重要突破、奇迹、这个领域革命性的成果。。
。”。
审稿：10几个杂志，110篇左右。杂志IF从很低到15不等，有不少杂志排名在Top 0.3%,

Defending the Indefensible?

When I was watching Sorkin’s Newsroom, i loved its wit. But i didn’t
relate too strongly with the show, because i didn’t really think the US
media is as bad as Sorkin was trying to portray: jaded, sensationalism,
interested in the rating only, not interested in exposing the truth.
In real life, none of the media focus has been anything I can vouch for, so

是“人家31岁哈佛正教授就是牛，跟你说也说不明白”，只有MVPYao用数据说话：
“在他的领域 估计算很好了的
google引用 目测在3000左右
h-index 30左右”
这个数据，在跟他的同行比较后，才有意义。谁是他的同行，尤其是中国背景的？我跟
他领域绝然不同，但是既然知道他是做“弦论”的，脑子里第一反应就是写了《弦论通
俗演义》的李淼。这两个人好像都没有google scholar，并且李淼年龄较大，文章也多
，一篇篇去数很耗精力。经人提醒，我发现去理论物理的专业数据库

本想等我弄完I-485后再来折腾这些东西的。但这两天收到好多来自申友的、要求给材料的短信，也能体会到大家与我当时一样的心情。所以，就先把letter templates整理下下，并更新在这个贴子后面了。有留下email地址的申友，我已把letter templates发到你的信箱里，请查收。至于还未留email地址，就请不要再给我留email地址了，直接在本贴后面拷就是了。（当然，如果是想给俺包子的话，俺是会张大口袋接的 ---- 俺也想ZAN点儿，等GC到手后，发几个给曾经帮助过我的前辈们，：）
这次能过，可能与我所做的项目比较特殊有关（恕我不能在此提及，因为不想被人肉），当然，运气是最重要的，我想。也有些申友是写信问问题的。我真不是什么办GC的牛人，GC办到现在，其实还是有很多拎不清的地方。不过，如果是我懂得的那些，我一定会尽量答复的。只是请给我点时间，因为我这阵子公事、私事的搅成一团，实在是太忙了；还有，我想先把485交上了。
