student, a careful read of any of the up-to-date Introdcution to Psychology
textbooks will do. Things will come back to you pretty quickly.
I spent a few weeks reading Zimbardo's "Psychology and Life" (a classic
introductory textbook), and scored 800 in psychology GRE sub in 1996. My
choice of this textbook was based on my comparison of all the textbooks
available in the libray (not many actually, since I was in China).

For those clinical orientated programs (e.g., clinical psychology,
counseling psychology, etc), they usually have an interview process to
assess if the applicant would be a good fit for clinical work. If she has
not got any interviews from those programs by now, it is not a very good
sign.
While for programs like experimental psychology or social psychology, I
assume they do not always interview applicants. So don't worry too much

我老也想像一般美国人那样根本不care厉害国啥玩意儿。
但是暂时还做不到。
在中国长大是一种严重的psychological abuse。我老隔三差五就要上来骂中国其实是
abuse造成的psychological scar的一种表现形式而已，就像有其他各种psychological
scar的人也有他们的表现形式一样。
有些受害者最后受不了只能去把施害者一刀捅了。
但是中国这么个东西你没法一刀捅了它。

请问版上有没有IO Psychology的呀，大家觉得有没有必要去AOM这样的conference找工
作呀？哎，失策，订了8月初回国的机票，后来才知道6号在Monteal有AOM的conference
，不知道值不值得为这个改回国日期？从没去过AOM conference，也不是很有经验，是
不是AOM这样的会议会有很多job opportunity呢？ 知道的能告知下相关经验吗？包子
