发帖数: 6482 | 2 我九月底去的时候那边连续下了一周雨，爬的时候也是刚刚下完暴雨，身处云雾之中，什么风景都没
有，石头巨滑，但这条路真的很棒。整座山里只有我一个人。羡慕你有人拍照，我只能靠头顶一个
GoPro，走到一半还没电了。
话说Ranger说每年都有混蛋穿拖鞋、带老人小孩、不看天气、不做准备就往山上冲，然后在半山腰傻逼
了求救。雨中上Precipice是Acadia第二难。第一难是雨中下Precipice，我到山顶上考虑过但最后
没敢，下来时候走的是山背后的Beechcroft

为圣诞礼物. 由於挺喜欢这个有抽象意境的作品, 所以那幅画也就一直的挂在了我书房
的墙上.
虽然我早知道Ansel Adams是什么人, 但好多年过去了, 我却一直没好奇大師那幅画照
的是什么地方. 一直到前些年山爬的多了, 也多次在High Sierra上的John Muir
Wilderness及Ansel Adams Wilderness里背负健行, 才开始慢慢的对会以他们來命名一
个wilderness的这兩个人多了一些了解及敬仰, 也才去找出了那幅画照的地点, 是加州
Sequoia 国家公园里的一个一万尺高山上的湖泊Precipice Lake.
终於, 在年度的backpacking计划里, 我把寻访Precipice Lake的路线列入了行程, 也
早早的拿到了permit. 从Sequoia NP的Mineral King登山口, 往北走到Bearpaw Meadow

发帖数: 809 | 11 Precipice Trail is indeed so-so. I brought my parents up without any problem.
But I turned around at the bottom of Angel's landing (end of west rim trail
if that is the name of the approach). There was patch ice on trail when I
tried, and the condition might be better in summer. But one thing I am sure
is, it is more exposed than precipice trail. It is not just about strenous.
West rim trail itself is nice already. So even if you can't reach top of
angel's landing, you won't get disappointed. |

3) 2天的话一天可以坐船,看日出日落,游泳,晚上逛小镇, 第二天可以爬山,探险, 环岛开车...
主要是 爬山比较消耗体力...龙虾大餐穿插吃啦~

也有去看落叶的，不过能看落叶的时候都有点太冷。
这个window貌似挺长的，九月初绝对没问题。
两个机场都很贵，但是其他机场都要开比较久，看你的钱打算怎么花了。我本来是想飞
到就近的，觉得来回浪费10个小时在开车很不值，但是种种原因吧，最后定在MHT，那
里租车不贵。
一定要爬precipice，如果带老人小孩不能爬的话我觉得去不去意义不大，所以，一定
要爬precipice。
另外就是看你多爱吃lobster了。 |

很漂亮的地方，但是天气一定要好。去了以后拿当地的报纸，weekly newsletter，按
照上面推荐的玩就是了。看日出和星星可以一起，我们三点钟就上峰顶去了，绝对不虚此行。
Trail也是一流的，上个星期还刚刚开放了一个Precipice Trail，是东海岸最有具挑战
性的了，必须手脚并用，爬钢筋才上得去。LD爬得大呼过瘾。风景当然是无限风光在险峰。不过
有恐高症还是算了，可以站在山下看秃鹰。建议带个望远镜，photogear版正火的Zen-ray就不
错。
还有不少免费的Tour，山顶上介绍冰川运动的，看鸟的，看植物的。有小朋友的可以带
去听听，好好学习一下美国人是怎么保护自己的环境和自然资源。
最后还要大力推荐一个付费的海上tour，Lulu Lobster Boat，在tripadvisor上排名No
. 1。Captain John绝对好人，还在学习中文，不时跳出几句”灯塔“，”龙虾“。我们
一行不仅看了秃鹰，海狮，竟然还看到了海豚和鲸鱼！最后当场演示了怎么捕龙虾，还讲解了关于龙

第二天奉命爬Precipice Trail，据说是这最难的，牌子上警告缺手缺脚，严重恐高的
一定不要冒险。于是咱打起了十二分精神上山，这次估计有洗一筐萝卜的功夫才到。山
顶视野开阔，可以见到大西洋白哗哗的open water 和巴哈勃(bar harbor)里晃荡的克
鲁兹(cruise)。咔嚓了几张照片，然后沿着champlain north ridge trail下山，越走
越不对劲，风景不错，看不到海，很久没人经过的样子，草叶蛛网都到路中间来了，青
蛙小蛇什么的也多的喜人。
管它呢，走着。一路侉走，至少洗了三筐萝卜的功夫才下到山脚，发现是三号公路上的
nowhere。还好公园里有种bus没事常瞎转，见到形迹可疑的，beaten up的，找不着北
的就停下来捡，这才木有成为失踪人口。
鉴于早晨的插曲，偶们坐在Jordon pond house里一边吃一边互相评估认路能力。最后
均认为对方得分为一星。地图上显示我俩走错的那条叫beachcroft trail。

分两天开的话，波士顿城里很可以看一下。
如果一路沿海，与其在路上玩不如直接去Acadia，半路可以考虑缅因的Musical Wonder
House，音乐盒博物馆。
一家四口，如果老人或者拾叁岁以下小孩，或者体力不好，那最好的两条Trail，
Beehive和Precipice都算了。Cadillac Mountain可以偷懒开车上，沿着Otter Cove海
边小路可以走一段。剩下的请去精华区考古。 |

我觉得娱乐性很高，当然攀岩高手们可以无视。
这两条路正常人基本上不会有生命危险……
Precipice每年都有七八岁小孩或者穿拖鞋上去的，几年才会死一个
（今年七月刚死一个）。
Diable必须有向导（而且还死贵），08年建成，目前为止死亡人数为0。
（有谁会花一百块钱去自杀？）
华山那条栈道号称天下第一险确实不是白叫的。
好在听说近十年在安全措施上做了不少改进。
