今年至少有20名朝鲜政府高官叛逃至韩国。据《朝鲜日报》报道，叛逃者中还包括
一名人民军政治局(People's Army Politburo)的高官，在被派至北京后选择了前往韩
国而不是返回朝鲜。
据韩国国家情报局(National Intelligence Service，简称NIS)本周向国会提交的
报告，其他还包括被派驻国外的外交工作人员，至少其中一人是朝鲜侦查总局(General
Bureau of Reconnaissance)的。该局的主要任务是执行反韩行动。
《日本时报》也援引韩国《东亚日报》称，一名朝鲜国家安全部(State Security
Department)官员，其官阶相当于内政部长，在出国执行临时任务时逃往韩国。朝鲜国
家安全部曾在2013年处决金正恩的姑父张成泽时发挥了重要作用。
分析人士认为，选择在美国或欧洲寻求难民身份的朝鲜高官应该更多。
