, attending North Texas Soccer league's game.
Quoted from my email : "This Wed. soccer is at Jack Carter Park #E, near
Independence Pkwy and Spring Creek. Please note that the lights shut off at
10:00 pm." They starts around 8:00 pm, and you need to pay $5 per play or $
20 per season since they pay the city for the field.
I know few guys play bascketball every Friday at SMU's Gym.

always high on traffic. and I'm thinking Allen has cheaper houses, not too
sure. if you have a kid, Plano high schools are better in my opinion, Allen
has only one high school and when I went there, I didn't like it, not
diversed at all and school and faculty puts little attention on minorities |

terms of absolute numbers and percentage, and you have to decide if you like
it or not. But more and more chinese moves in Allen now.
Allen ISD is famous for its football and cheerleader team. the football team won a national championship in 5A division about 4 years ago. But i don't think it
matters to Chinese.
Academically, I think Allen ISD was a notch lower than some Plano schoool in the past, they are kind of even now. |

allen 9, murphy 8, frisco 21. 好象是这么个数字.找到我拍上来.
至于Allen ISD, Plano ISD, Carroll ISD 评级, 请参考. 当然我对这些学区具体优缺
点也不大了解. 只是从我高中时就知道WEST PLANO是最有名气的.

还有我家小朋友9月要从外州转到plano，现在上2年级，但是他生日是11月的
而德州的截至日是9/1。
我问了学区，如果小朋友在别州上过一个年级，到德州后可以接着上下一级
小朋友学习很好，目前在gifted and talented class。
个子大概中国人中算中等偏上。
大家觉得我是应该9月让小朋友
1。重上二年级呢（这样就不是班上最小的，但是小朋友可能不喜欢，也会觉得无聊）

Junior high school was rezoned to Clark instead of Jasper.
The hottest area is Wyatt/Skaggs-- Rice-Jasper-West Plano.
Another area gets popular is Andrew-Rice-Jasper-West Plano. Since Andrew
kids need to cross Independence to go to Rice, many people still prefer the
houses in Highland Ridge and Spring Ridge neighborhood.
I listed several houses in highland ridge and all were sold in a month. |

哈哈，俺家娃上的是ABC Dayschool,我们才需要担心娃的英文呢。
ABC School 担心娃英文的家长很多都把娃送到Plano Day School.....这样英文可以更
好些。
至少我见到的几个Plano Day School的kids英文都倍儿溜。。。。 |

说了。相比boston可能繁华程度差点儿，但是Dallas也算大城市了，开车半小时就能到
。而且半路也有很多shopping的地方，Galleria什么的。
上次还说Dallas有全美最好的高中，听朋友说Plano学区也不错。
缺点就一个字，热！ |

3~5 years is that Chinese are moving to Allen/Frisco.
Consider the location and Community, I think West Allen 75013 is better. |

Without Plano's rigid training, you won't be successful at TAMS since
students will take all college courses at UNT.
More and more Plano kids go to TAMS even the 1st place at Jasper.
Here is the link for Intel Science Talent Search. TAMS has 9 winners (all of
them got admitted by top schools.

发帖数: 156 | 48 我女儿在Barksdale（K到2年级）， Centennial（2到3年级）和Brinker都读过（我们
搬了两次家），Barksdale和 Centennial都很好。四年级时因为Plano的Mathrock
program， 我女儿转到Brinker.
Brinker管理极其混乱，千万别去。 plano把Bush/Tollway交界处的apartment分到
Brinker学区，每天校车拉好几车野孩子来上学。早晨下校车时没有老师监督，孩子满
哪儿乱跑。中午饭经常是长毛的。有些学生午饭加塞，老师不管，我女儿说那几个加塞的
孩子，结果老师罚所有的孩子都到后面重新排队。我女儿在学校两次受伤（被乱跑的孩
子撞的），老师都无动于衷，什么都没做。那个Mathrock program也教得极其不当，家
长们很不满意。Brinker的设备，校园也差很多。
我们很不满意Brinker，所以现在已经转去别的学校了。
Centennial学校小，设备好，管理好，老师也好，但是富家子弟多，有些孩子很娇惯，
冷漠。
