other employers do the same thing. if you indeed work in a private firm, you
would hear the phrase, "added value". you need to add value to justify your
stay in the firm, and the added value better exceed your paycheck,
otherwise you won't survive either.
welfare is deemed a socialism thing here, if you paid close attention to
newspapers or tv.
