that beida biology guy 1900s, 2 wing looper penhold, we always play
closely
in club, one Sunday nite, i didn't plan to play, just showed one of my
friends the club, then he asked me to play him.
i borrowed one racket, very heavy with smooth sponge both sides, i
lost first game easily, but came back to lead 2:1, and won 3:2.
he won another guy before that, during the match, he told the guys
waiting for the table saying, it would be next 2(means he was sure
he would win) |

of course he is better, but he did lose a lot of 1900s penholders
most of them are loopers in real tournaments, like David Chu,
Zhang, Hongzhong etc..
unfortunately i am NOT a good looper. |

among the 3, Fudan one is the hardest to beat, if u could
play to 9:11 in 5th, that was really a good fight! |

ur forehand is a lot more consistent, i saw even very high ball in
ur backhand, u still push back.
横打 can't be easily learned by yourself, even the famous Erwin
(used to be over 2300+, now 2100+) started to learn 横打 from Jiaqi,
Butterfly Bryce or Bryce FX(softer) is a good choice.
When i played Erwin, he tried to warm up 横打 a lot, but rarely used
it in real matches.
The best player who is using 横打 is Ken Lin, who used 横打 full-time

发帖数: 5654 | 11 ur game is very solid and all-rounds, in ur level, ur backhand is
key to beat same level shakehands, that may be the reason i feel
u have better chance to beat a 2250 shakehand than a 2250 penholder.
In order to break ur career high, u need better core strength, so
that you would not easily get injured (i know u are a hard trainer)
also your forehand would be a lot more powerful.
There are a lot of good ways to improve your core strength, u can
easily google it.
P90X is one of the good choices! |
