状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

我还在震惊中，嫂子今年45岁了，是一名老师，人长得漂亮，平时生活很是规律，注意
运动和保养，早已顺利评上高级职称，上一个月还和我哥开开心心出去旅游一周回来。
日子对两人来说真是越过越好，正到事业稳定，经济没有负担，开始好好享受生活的
时候。 没想到因为嫂子一场腹痛，我哥就想着趁着十一假期带着我嫂子去医院检查一
下吧，竟然是恶性肿瘤，据说瘤子已有十几公分大。她的单位也是每年都组织体检的，
不知道为什么竟然没有检查出来。他们本来不想让其他人知道，以免让家人承担不必要

我儿子今年刚满九岁，不久前查出长短腿 （Leg Length Discrepancy， or LLD)。照X
光确认 是由左右 腿骨长短不一造成的。大腿和小腿骨加起来左腿比右腿短4公分（儿
子现在身高130厘米左右）。我们非常自责也很着急，4厘米对于一个130身高的小朋友
来说已经非常厉害了，我们现在才发现。详细X光 诊断见下。
我们现在正在跟骨科专家预约中，据家庭医生讲，不是有威胁生命的病症，通常要等很
长时间才能见到专家。并且专家在见到病患之前也不解答任何问题。由于还要等很长时
间才能见到医生，我们想在这里请教一些问题。
1． 冰球运动/比赛
儿子现在打冰球，前一段时间由于赛季结束，比赛比较频繁，连续三周每个周末都要打

做病理分析，看看有无癌变。
Cervical exam中，医生用specular把vagina张开，露出宫颈，可以看有无discharge,
odor, 还可以用q-tip取一些分泌物作culture，看看是否有感染，性病等等。
对于18岁以上的女子，建议至少每三年做一次pap，如果家庭有宫颈癌病史的，一年一次
。如果病人来看医生时是因为痒，或者痛，或者异常分泌物等原因，而且病人上一次pap
至今不到一年，那么医生只会作cervical exam，不会再做个pap。
如果病人pap的report异常，或者为不确定，一般会refer到oncologist那里(which is
bad),或让病人四个月后重复一次pap. |

having endometriosis so my doctor sent me for pelvic ultrasound,which I
expected.
It is called "ovary cyst" in English and I don't think pap smear and blood
test are the ways to look for it. |

if 盆腔炎 means pelvic inflammatory disease, it's often sexually transmitted
and need antibiotics, you need to see your doctor about it,
but try not to self diagnose that might lead you taking the wrong medicine, |

physical + comprehensive metabolic panel. You can ask for a skin exam too,
if the insurance covers it.
The woman should have annual breast/pelvic exam anyway. Mention that you are
thinking of conceiving and there may be additional vaccine-related tests/
shots, depending on your immunization history. |

Guy only -> general physician, for semen analysis
Girl only -> general physician or gyn, for pelvic exam (does not check
fertility though)
Couple planning to have child -> general physician or gyn, prenatal visit
Couple tried but failed to conceive -> infertility specialist |

这边没病的话breast/pelvic exam也建议每年一次。如果有疑问会送B超等检查，或者
refer看专家。
关键词：fleeting pin prick pain(one side/both? any correlation with your
period?)。另外听不懂让医生当场解释，至少写下来。 |

* Blood pressure: if >120-139/80-89 then every yr, otherwise every 2 yrs
* Cholesterol screening: every 5 years
* Dental exam: once/yr
* Eye exam: once/2 yrs
* Physical exam: every 1-5 years.
* Women's exams: breast and pelvic: once/yr + mammogram once/1-2yr
