题，老夫听到文章要一个完整的story就想笑
每个PI应该首先建立诚信数据库，peer-reivew应该由完全独立第三方双盲对照重复实
验，如果无法重复，PI的credit应该下降，到一定程度就该扫地出门
绝大多数文章即使没有造假，也没有什么实际意义，连当手纸都嫌硬。现在的生物科研
，大多数PI基本就是骗钱，烧钱，产垃圾。
一个中餐馆大厨的工作，从小的来讲，可以改善大家饮食水平，从大的来讲也算推动社
会发展，所以现在所谓生物科研被人看不起是理所当然的 |

school, what did I think about the shift, where did I go to school. I
answered all of them and we chit chat a little bit afterwards about the
schools I went to, where I originally grew up... After reading the resume
they were naturally curious without any malicious intention. So I talked

能问出这些问题，说明你还是比较民科的。
FDA，还有中国的SDA, 对于食品和药物的毒理学试验有一个很重要的原则，就是传统以
来（几百年？几千年？）一直作为食品，药物或添加剂的，无需提供长期毒理学的资料， 即
使具体单体成分不清楚。所以很多中草药重新开发的新药在中国不需要长期毒理学资料
。而很多中草药虽然不符合美国药品的要求（FDA要求药品是知道具体化学结构的单体
），但是可以作为食品添加剂来卖，不需要更多资料，没有任何问题。（这里的理由是
几百几千来都已经经中国古人人体试验了） 对于FDA来说，不知道是什么东西不可怕，
只要它一直都存在，一直都在吃。可怕的是新的东西，从来没有被证明吃到人体没有害

但我们家的预备青少年就开始给我头疼了。大家看看有什么解啦。
背景：6岁半，男生，一年级。原来学校班里，他是唯一的中国小孩，性格有些敏感了
，是家里弟弟，被指挥领导的对象。班里有要好的朋友，平常朋友间活动很多。
经历：pre-k one year-church daycare
k one year--public school
1st grade --first year in new public school
症状：1。不愿意剪头发，原因：同学会取笑他的新发型。
绝对没有标新立异的发型，也取消了home made剪发，到理发店剪的。
2。不肯穿新衣服。原因：同学会取笑他的新衣服。
风格非常普通的，在美国商店的衣物。牛仔裤+衬衣。
3。不肯带有某类的snakers，象chinese cookies,seaweed packages，其实 自
己在家很爱吃。原因：同学会取笑他带的零食。
唐了很多次，从上帝造人的平等，整体自我认 |

peer pressure是一个表面，深层里是你儿子对自身，或者自己背景的不认同和担忧
所以你觉得给他美国店剪发，穿美国店衣服就解决了问题
但是可能由于曾经的某些小事情，他心里有了顾忌
要治本，还要想其他更好的方法 |

下面是一封申请EB2 NIW I-140的petition letter的范例。这是多年前公开发表在
MITBBS“落地生根”版上的一个帖子。现在重贴于此，供大家参考。
个人点评：EB2 NIW的申请是技术活，满足NIW的三个方面都必须论证到位，否则就通过
不了；而且论证过程中，有些关键词必须出现在移民官的视野里。这封petition
letter基本上达到了这几方面的要求。更难能可贵的是，这封petition letter的后面
，还列出了所有的exhibit，值得参考。

的petition letter，开始准备NIW。看了几篇模板，发现有些疑问。
1. NIW 不需要列表格，油灯图等吗？为什么我看到的模板都没有这些，只有Exhibit？
2. EB1A的petition条理比较清楚，比方说我要claim三项，就从1，2，3几方面阐述。
但是NIW怎么感觉条理比较混乱呀？
请有经验的前辈指点迷津，小女子不胜感激！

community的。 这两种peer effect起的作用 可能不同 （目前也没有很清楚）。
within classroom的peer effect之前看的不是特别多。但是很早之前，就有发现，在
一个班级里面，常常入学时能力比较弱的 （比如言语），之后发展的反而比较快。而
言语比较强的，倒是出现在ceiling effect，到了一个程度 就止步不前了。 之前的解
读是 老师的教育法制定时 可能会根据班级的整体平均情况制定，所以对于落后的孩子
有很大帮助，但是对于比较好的孩子 帮助就不大了（一位这些孩子已经都懂了） 对于
这些能力比较好的孩子，在班上也没有新的刺激 所以就不会有太大的进步。 所以我觉
得很可能 LZ quote的 指的可能是 within classroom peer effect
比较general的peer effect 倒是一直是有所研究，但是也是比较宽泛的看。这里的

并查集和树的结合。peer用并查集表示（一个集合里面的都是peer），manager关系用
树的结构表示。构建过程中先用(manager,A,B)先构建树结构;然后再用(peer,A,C)构建
并查集结构（在树中有父结点的是并查集的root）。is_peer(a,b)要么a,b在一个并查
集中，要么两个所属的并查集有相同的manager。is_manager(a,b)就递归地找了。自己
写的测试用例过了，如有不对请指正

1. 什么是审稿？
peer review，所谓的”同行评审“，是现有的大部分学术期刊以及学术研究资金提供
机构所使用的一种评审科研学术成果的一种程序。分为 open peer review 和 blind
peer review两种。前者审稿人的身份是公开的，后者是匿名的。就象Ben Goldacre在
他的大作中提到，“Peer review is flawed but the best we've got” 作为一种评
审方式它也有他的弊端，但是也是现今唯一受到大家承认的评审方式。所谓”同行评审
"就是你递交的学术著作（paper)或者学术计划（proposal)通常会由你所在专业的同行
来评定和给分，来决定文章是否接受和发表或者研究经费是否被授予。根据不同的期刊
，通常一片manuscript会由多位审稿人（1-3）来评定。所以理论上来说，如果你发表

刚开始申请，自己真的是一点都不懂，所有点点滴滴都是从本版学到的，我建议初学者
可以经常到班上考考古，真的会有很多收获！
下面就把我自己的pl分享给大家，其实我当初也是在版上找到的模板，然后根据自己的
情况稍加改动。建议大家根据自己的情况，哪里是自己的强项，就要多多突出。我自己
的文章影响因子一般，但是引用很多，而且都是一些正面的评价或是大段的引用。所以
我特意弄了表格把所有这些引用都彰显出来，说明我的工作对别人是有很大影响的。
还有就是contribution部分介绍的几个工作，我基本都是用同一模式介绍的每个工作1.
推荐信中怎样说这个工作2它解决了什么问题3发表哪里，杂志介绍4引用情况5其他文章
对这个工作的引用。我觉得这样会让人看起来更有条理性一些。当然这只是我个人看法
，不知道io是不是喜好这样。
因为140approve的时候把自己的包子都发出去了，现在要为485再积攒包子了，所以各
位要是觉得我的pl对你有帮助就给我1,2个包子吧！呵呵
