钱多 :-( 过路费过桥费不断， 还挺贵。 穿过Delaware, 就到了Penn state, 不久
来到费城。
独立宫
先到一处外观气派豪华的类似宫殿的地方， 每人捐了三刀， 进去看了画展， 以为独立
宫不过尔尔， 结果出来研究了一下， 才发现原来不是独立宫。 於是走到真正的独立宫
国家公园(其实就几栋楼房)， 独立宫分为三处： 议会， 独立宫， old city hall. 挨
个
参观。
宾大，沃顿商学院
然后决定去 U PENN 看看。 在 U Penn 的 food court 吃了一顿很贵很难吃的中国菜。
不过想起就要到我所景仰的沃顿商学院， 也就不再生气了。 沃顿商学院尽管外表看
也就不过如此， 不过进入里边， 就能感觉到凝重的学术气氛， 古香古色的建筑，
知名的校友， 大拿教授 。。。 最后和一个入口处很丑很抽象很怪异的雕像合了个影，
以表 peddle 到此瞻仰一次。 U Penn 有个很大的书店， 俺们进去买了个有 U Penn
字眼的杯子， 以表纪念。 (到目前为止， |

山水之美自不必说，沿途的鸟兽确是要大书特书的。
yellowstone是看熊的好去处。几条trail 是熊必然出没。我们去的是cascade lake.
穿过树林，路的左边是2000磅的bison，站着注视右前方。顺着目光搜寻，600 ft外果
然是只black bear. 我们呆在原地看了好久，只到熊转过肥肥的屁股，晃晃悠悠的钻到
树林去了。
黄石东北的trail close to peddle creek. 我们遇到狼，我学狗叫，狼不应。学狼叫
，他倒是停下望望我。我奔他去，他仍然迈着细碎的步子。两分钟后，我就被他甩掉了
。
bison, coyote, moose,elk 是很容易见得，也不说了。只是moose 的身高，速度确实
出乎意料。他大约7 ft 高，迈着大步，两步很从容的上了路基。我四步追上去，他已
经快要消失在林子里。接着追了6，7步，他突然砖头。我急停照了两张，他很鄙视的看
看我，迈着悠闲的大步走开了

一家子去ann arbor的huron river划canoe。铁皮船窄窄的，人下去晃晃，小儿子下去
还跳跳，老
大就不成了，只敢坐在那里乖乖。先从一个静湖里出发，从个小木桥穿过去，划到缓缓
流动的huron
river。上游下来好些划船的，有canoe，有皮划艇，多是以家庭为单位，有一家大人在
前面划一条，4
个小孩在后面划一条，两船之间一根绳连着。河水有深有浅，浅的地方半桨，深的地方一个桨下去也不
见底。
野鸭子们安适地
觅食，河面不时冒出小鱼的气泡。燕子低低掠空飞过，映着和天色一样深沉的水面，提
醒人今天稍后要
下雨。
回程过小木桥的时候遇上几个开peddle boat的。人高马大地坐着，一看就过不了低矮

能帮，真的应该搭把手，无论大小。其实咱们谦逊惯了，老脚的帮不了实质的还是别给
人’虚幻的‘希望；这可能也是一些人没出手的良苦用心。
从申请的人讲，要知道不是你要的结果达到了才是人帮你了；很多时候别人帮你提供或
建立connection是也是很难能可贵的。Press forward, keep peddling and do not
complain. Those sore feelings only chase those who might help you further
away.
