pathology方向。我现在非常想了解的是，如果考board算是一个plus experience吗？我现在是打
算postdoc期间考board。如果万一没走board这条路，postdoc出来以后，走academia的路会怎么
样，机会多吗？
俺已经浑浑噩噩地过了太久，这次想多了解点情况再做选择，免得以后又后悔。请
问有大侠了解这方面的情况吗？万分感谢。 |

现在为顺序发愁。
我到底是应该把哪个放在前面？
医院不重要，重要的是什么科。
一直认为，pathologist不像是医生，因为他们不和病人直接接触。但是在申请过程中
，看法有一点点改变。觉得pathology也不错，life style不错，pay的也蛮好，还不是
很累。但总是觉得欠缺了点什么。
做internal medicine的话，应该很累的。我虽然很乐意很病人打交道，但是如果让我
一天12个小时一直干这个，恐怕我又受不了。
现在真的比较迷惑，我的职业规划很不明确。
问问板上曾经也像我这样摇摆不定的同学们，你们的选择是什么，为什么呢？

但是我还是觉得，如果我的选择是internal medicine的话，我会毫不犹豫的放弃大学
医院。
就像你说的，自己有兴趣，肯学习，才是真的。其实医院给的training是很次要的东西
。关键还是自己怎么去学习。 |

without even looking at your application?
And the rejection letter is as short as "I regret to inform you that you
have not been selected to interview for our Pathology Residency Program at

first interview place that national wide >360 AMG and >600 IMG applied for
2012 pathology residency and the available position is ~510. Last year, ~280
AMG and >500 IMG applied.......I was very surprised! Not sure if it is true

what I did and found at the end. It is hoped that you'd learn something
through the practical components of pathology.
1 case. A biopsy of transverse colon only contains piece of fat with some
cautery/crush artifact. What will you do?
2 case. A biopsy of colon polyp has a fragmented typical tubular adenoma.
