我是PHD最后一年，有个公司A本来要给一个秋季的part-time实习，但是公司内部
申请开辟 intern位置的deadline过了。于是就想用contract的方式。
现在他们用一个叫Atrium Staffing的公司雇我，我如果申part-time CPT的话，用
Atrium Staffing做雇主。我问了一下，其他的没有什么区别，还在A公司上班，并且
payment最后是用W2而不是1099，我算Atrium Staffing的雇员而不是contractor,但我
想我应该是算A的contractor。
我在网上搜了一下，好像很多说contractor最后拿到的是1099.并且如果拿1099，有可
能会对移民身份有影响。
我想问一下，我这种情况，在法律上，包括以后申opt, h1b应该是没有风险的吧。BTW:
A公司是一个很大的公司，世界500强，不存在欺诈的问题。

有人说工作久了之后以前学校名牌就不重要了。
有人也将相同的理论用在工作久返回校园读书上。
是否像lz这种大龄大叔回学校读part time MBA不用注重名牌？
lz被当地的两所学校同时录取：一所是前十名，一所大概在前50
问题是时间和学费。
前十的学业压力大，还得折腾。学费贵，单位付了之后自己还要贷款6万。
前50的学业压力低，便宜。单位全包。有领导认为lz应该选前50的学校，主要是上述两
点。说是内部升迁并不在乎学校名牌，两所都被本公司接受。
但是否到了名牌学校不只有机会进入更好的部门，也会有机会到更好的企业工作，创造
更好的生活？貌似有些企业只到好学校招生。提供的package相对也较好。
lz工作快九年了，该选哪个好？

我的大学专业和工作经验都和做网站有关, 那个老师似乎比较倾向让我做这个。我觉得：
-中译英翻译书籍可以提高英语水平
-网站工作可以巩固我以前的网站制作能力，并且对我今后的学习也有帮助。
我现在担心的有以下几个问题：
1． 因为我马上要转身份，而且F2签证本来就不能工作，我怕万一这件事情会影响
到我转身份。
2． 我也怕到时候雇方用我的签证问题来为难我的payment.
3． 根据我以前的网站编辑经验，做网站算project, 我们一般是按做一个网站多少
钱来算。但是学校里的part time job通常是按小时算钱。我觉得做网站的辛苦程度比
较大，所以觉得如果是按小时算钱的话是不是不太划算？

Medical Informatics, 因为专业应用性比较强，而且资金资助出现了问题（导师没有
什么钱），学校所学的和实际脱节较大，我产生了中间holding the program, 然后去
找Healthcare 相关的公司比如数据处理，医疗软件，电子病历的开发等等，先工作一
段时间，然后边工作边读part-time PhD的想法。不知道是否可以从F1直接转成H1B, 如
果找到工作的话，是否可以直接工作。请问拿到H1B读part-time PhD有没有问题。本人
的最终目标是回国创业，做医疗软件和医院医疗系统的开发等，不打算长期呆在美国。
本人对这些不是很了解，有没有这样经历的朋友，请指点一下迷津。
