这个周末跟着club去SEWS，有三个basic student，这还是上过课按说什么都会的。有一个就是啥都不行，这么个简单的climb，一般只要八个小时，我们总共爬了十四个小时，leader的脸都绿了。山上你也没啥办法，只能迁就，万一抵触情绪弄大了风险更大。
山上真会死人的，自己能力不够没法瞎带人。 |

people going with guide service have no climbing experience. After just one
day of climbing school, they are deemed good enough to go on these two
easiest routes. What can you possibly learn for one day? Guides are not

these people really climbed/tried Rainier, my respect goes to the leader, not anyone else.

guide敢带人上去，是因为他们经验多，能力强，对客户情况判断准确。
一天的时间确实学不到什么，最终我觉得主要还是靠guide能力。
这也是为啥人家是guide，普通climber们，就算experienced，
也没有几个能成为guide。
上周末带学生爬Hood，有几个学生上了Hogsback就一直在shaking，
然后自己还想往上爬，又害怕，然后问我要怎么办。
你说我怎么说？我也难办啊。然后下去了，又郁闷，不高兴。
我想换成是你估计就Push上去了，问题是一旦路上真的不行了，
你或许有能力弄下来，我可没有。
这个还是出发之前天气预报好得不能再好的，后来除了风大点，天气也是很好，
而且风虽然大，要我说上了Rainier绝对不比那个小，还冷呢。
反正我没觉得吹得太痛苦，但学生都受不了啦。
这次带的学生还都算强的，有一些basic都毕业了，还有IM学生。
所以你不能老是拿自己的情况来衡量别人，我觉得你的能力能qualify guide了，
但大多数其他人没有这么强吧？

pause.
In Berekely open of 2008, my opponent's coach called referee in 4th game. I
lose critical points due to illege serve in 4th game 9:9. I also lose match.
That's only case in my tournament. My parter and I are going to work on
these to make sure this will not happen in Baltimore of 2011. |

废话篇
今年重新恢复训练以来，基本上是一直在跑easy，速度控制在HR75%以内。作为B
ase Training还是很见效的。首先是没有受伤，其次MAF两个月就提高了40多秒，
Weekly Mileage也在上周第一次达到70MPW。之前最高的是再前一周的50MPW，其
实这个增加的还是有些激进。不符合10%的原则，欢迎拍砖。好在是一直没有跑快
，靠蜗牛速度、磨时间安全完成。
Base Training结束了，下一步是跑速度呢还是继续维持高Mileage呢？这个时候
脑袋一热就准备跑个长的，平时的Trail一圈也就5、6mile，要跑长的岂不是要闷
死。看看地图发现从我家到Outbacker家大约25mile左右，这个距离很有吸引力。
周末Longrun能跑个全马还是很让我心动的，尤其是去年的首马跑了郁闷五个多小
时，能够刷新一下当然是求之不得。
准备篇
然后就把计划告诉outbacker，要求单程接送和陪跑服务。我们这个乡下的城市可
是没有什么公共交通。更何况这是从MO到KS两个州。

线和移动都没得说，男选手的Serve也很强，两人都至少有4.5水平。我的Parter大妈一
路抱怨对手是Sandbagger，我却暗喜有机会跟强手过招。印象最深刻的是偶一发Flat
Serve到T，对方女选手一记反手Inside Out Return就 Winner了。对方女选手还有一记
反手过顶Overhead Winner，非常impressive。第一盘很快3:6输了。第二盘一发偶多用
了Slice Serve,得到些Free Points,发现对手正手接发比反手稍差些。双方比分一直咬
得很紧，最后一个Game偶竟然打出几个神仙穿越，最后6:4赢了第二盘。Match
Tiebreak对手使出真正水平，最后我们2:10脆败。比赛结束后，还有些Court Time,跟
对方男选手抽了30分钟底线，非常爽。今年冬季Mixed Double Season对我来说就算结

partering 多一点，男的估计有点舞蹈背景，不过也不是受过很多古典及现代训练的，
女的给这个舞加了很多杂技动作，比如你说的那个。
不过这几年杂技也突然大热了，在美国10－20多岁的人里玩的很多。现在编的也是挺讲
艺术性的。
