差六分钟多BQ的马拉松。
训练第一次马拉松之前，跑步完全为了减肥，后来喜欢了，被版上人问啥时候比赛，我还
挺抵触：跑就行了，为啥非要比赛，非要跑马拉松呢，还自己掏钱呢。我跑步之前减肥
的目的是hiking，当时2007年刚到南加州，和张老三同学和另外两个女生一起爬南加第
二高峰，几乎死去，在登顶几百米的地方就崩溃，放弃了。后来一年被老三同学忽悠骑
road bike，大约每周commute一百多迈，周末去山里公路骑车，很是爽了一阵。
2008年底在New Year Resolution的冲动下，我发帖表示要报名跑马拉松。这下子就完
全放弃了爬山和骑车，开始了Advanced Marathoning 55（还是50）的训练。由于我的
上班和作息时间问题，我把训练修改的面目全非，几乎完全没有follow了。当时开始我
还没有garmin手表，完全凭感觉跑，回忆起来，其实有点LHR的意思了。我的这次训练
比AM的计划多出来很多20迈的long run，都是很慢的速度。这次训练的成功点，就是把

如果带宝宝去玩的话，是不是那些hiking冰川，kayak的tour都直接忽略了的？
飞机到安克雷奇，去的Homer，Seward, Valdez,Palmer,Denali NP还有talkeetna,
觉得Seward和Valdez很值得去，小港小镇的感觉，看水看山看冰川。
Homer就安排了小半天时间，没有explore太多，只是住在海边，觉得比较新鲜吧~~
Seward那个小港口挺好看的，downtown有不少小店可以逛逛，附近还有exit glacier，
走比较短的路就可以看见了（大概半小时）。还有出海看冰川看海洋动物的tour可以参
加。
Palmer是因为我们在Homer听当地人推荐正好可以赶上每年的state fair，临时改时间
去了那里参加，见识了也品尝了不少AK的特色美食，有巨大的农作物展，还有家畜展，
，，，还是很赞的！在那里觉得当地人挺朴实的感觉~气氛都是喜洋洋的

因为怀孕时候很少出门，我懒得很，常常不洗脸（邋遢妇女一枚），面霜也常常不记得涂（bs我吧）但是有个东东是一直不忘的——防妊娠纹油。实在是看过网上别人贴的妊娠纹图片，心里阴影太大了……
clarins的大肚油据说不错，但是我小农，只用了药店产品。用过palmers的大肚油，cvs买的，7刀还是8刀，产品上有2offpeelie，价格还可以，就是很不经用（我每次都涂老厚一层），2个月不到就用完了；后来在RA买了一瓶scr后free的suave lotion，我一看成分有coconut butter，就把它往肚皮上招呼了（palmers大肚油的主要成分也是coconut butter）。那suave便宜量又足，一直用到宝宝出生也没用完……不敢说这个东东很好用，但至少我没长妊娠纹。我觉得只要够滋润，应该都... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 397 | 44 主校区转一下，Nassau hall（礼拜天不开门，其他时间可以进去看，曾经的国会山）,
chapel（礼拜天早上可以去听一下礼拜）,Firestone library（没学校的id进不去，但
是可以去小孩的那部分看）, art museum (at least one hour)，Richardson
auditorium,几个college转悠一下，东亚图书馆（胡适是第一任馆长）
graduate school那个塔楼要去看看，礼拜天下午会有钟楼的音乐会，平时门都是锁着
的，如果碰到有学生进出，可以蹭进去参观一下，courtyard里面紫藤萝现在最漂亮的
时候。
graduate school附近就是高等研究院（爱因斯坦工作的地方），简单参观一下也要半
个小时到一个小时，林子太大不要去了，碰到野生动物就不好玩了。faud hall看看就
行了。爱因斯坦办公室现在是里面的收发室。研究院里面牛人很多的，主要是让孩子看
看牛人在什么环境做研究，熏陶一下就好了。下午茶的点心超级好吃！
mercer上的爱因斯坦的房子无所谓，门口拍个照片就行了，据说之后又住了两个诺贝尔
奖得主。

20. 燈塔巡禮
每年秋天的某個週末，新州都會舉辦一場走遍燈塔挑戰賽（Lighthouse Challenge）。
參加的民眾必須在兩天內造訪全州，從最北的沙鉤（Sandy Hook）到最南的五月岬（
Cape May），還有位於保羅斯伯勒（Paulsboro）的提尼康島（Tinicum Island）上共
十一座知名燈塔，兩間燈塔博物館還有兩個救援站。任務可說是相當艱鉅，在享受海岸
風光的同時，應主辦單位要求，參賽者還必須收集每個景點的紀念品，商品販售的所得
則將作為修繕維護燈塔之用。

休斯顿正在经历800年未遇的洪灾。 大部分地区在过去几天里的降水量已经超过三英尺
（实际降雨量39英寸）。 今后几天里，有可能降雨将会持续。 目前休斯顿周围的水库
已经超越负载能力，开闸放水是保护水库以及保护一些区域的居民的办法。 如果不开
闸，水库破坝，上千万立方米的蓄水将会如同脱缰野马，瞬间吞噬周围一带的居民和财
产。所以开闸放水也是迫不得已。 但是如果开闸放水，将给已经饱和的布法罗何带来
更加严重的压力，会使附近以及沿岸一些居民遭受洪水灾害。 无论是不是开闸放水，
今后几天里休斯顿的洪水水位只会上涨不会下跌。 在Fort Bend County， Brazos
River 的水位将于周二达到59英尺。 一旦水位达到此高度，附近的几个LID将实行

的20，30码长传TOUCHDOWN是一种享受。当然这两年FLORIDA的QUTERBACK要弱
一些，所以战绩差了一点。96年DANNY WAUFUEL在的时候加上两个顶尖Receivers,
Hilliard和Anthony，(现在一个在NY Gaints，一个在TB Bucs)，打起PASSING
锐利无比。
今年Orange Bowl，对Syracuse,第三个Touchdown, Jessy Palmer刚替换Doug
Johnson上场，在大约10－15码处，在Offensive line的右侧放了三个Receiver,
进攻发起后，三人一起逆时针方向向左弧行跑动，带着syracuse的所有Corner
Back和Safty向左移动，一下子球场右侧反而空无一人，这时躲在Offensive line
里右侧的Tight End突然从里面溜出到了这片空地里，Palmer轻松一传，Touchdown.
整个过程只有大约2－3秒就完了，一种“兵不血刃”的感觉。 |
