What a fantastic boat, my 10 and 12 year olds jumped in and paddled
away, the tracking is great. I was a bit worried after reading some of the
other reviews but no problems, its easy to handle and very comfortable. The
only downside so far is the floor valve which is difficult to pull out with
cold wet fingers. A great little family boat, we' |

I was at the end of a rapid and the current was still so strong. It was
impossible for me to paddle against the current. I had to keep my boat in
this position to keep my location.
Remember, the current is underneath and is much stronger than it looks from
the surface. If you fell into water, don't try to do anything against the
current force. And it practically makes LITTLE difference if you can swim or
not. |

租 row boat 与 canoe，很便宜，4 个人没有问题，6 个人可能太多了。一艘船十几块
钱一个钟头的样子，不需要特别的执照，但要带驾照去。只收现金。又，那个地方是忙
碌的水道，常有大船出入，小心点。
Enatai Beach Park --- 夏天的时候这里租 kayak，单人或双人的，也很便宜，要带驾
照去。大部份的人是租了 kayak 以后往 Mercer Slough 里面进去。
Houghton Beach Park -- 在 Kirkland 的 Lake Washington Blvd 上。这里有租
kayak，还有 paddle board（就是冲浪板，人站在上面用一只桨划）。好像是最近几年

This is my first kayak and I have been paddling it now for almost a
year. I go out on it at least once every week or two. Mainly used for flat
water lakes and rivers in So. Illinois.
On lakes the boat tracks very well with any kind of stroke. The stability is

发帖数: 1948 | 17 昨天再战皮皮，七七八八上了13，4条，放了4，5条，留下几个大的。最大的15”，拿
着手里那个感觉就是，震‘悍’！！
这些天发现Walmart买的一种grub挺好用的，pink的jighead，黄色的grub，7个pieces
， 75 cents。1/16oz。基本钓法是要让grub游起来。夏天白天鱼都比较深。我是用UL
的杆子，4lb线，cast到河的一头，在grub下沉的时候，paddle我的yak到河中央，然后
慢收grub，yak会有点惯性。grub基本就从河道的一头扫过整个bed。kayak时paddle轻
些，对水流影响小，不太会惊动鱼。一有snag就赶紧sethook！我这里的河床基本没其
他东西，so far snag上来的都是鱼！
一般用UL和轻饵不容易抛远，而且kayak会随风和水流飘，所以在cast以后，可以利用
这段空隙，调整人和船的位置。这个对grub挺重要的，一旦grub游起来，要
consistently retrieve。
昨天用这1/16oz的小grub上了俩15”的stripebass，那个爽！ |

发帖数: 1948 | 18 有银子的话还是一步到位，买个用脚paddle的，可以一边paddle一边钓。kayak钓鱼最
大的问题还是风和水流。用手划的情况下，很难钓鱼划船一起干。三只手也够呛。
另外开你的体格，我的45lb，勉强抬动。想换个车，sedan，就不用把船抬上抬下了。
LD骂我脑子秀掉了，为了个几百的yak，要买个上万的车。醍醐灌顶啊！
所以，女人要找个男人，男人也还是要找个女人。over。 |

没有TRUCK没有YARD。一个普通的SHEV,后座可以放倒。
钓鱼也就在附近公园的湖里，应该属于风平浪静那种。目标鱼主要是CRAPPIE。
打算弄一条充气船，两/三个人的就可以。关键是要能收起来放进车后备箱。:)，也许
根本就没有这种船，那样的话，我也就死心了。
大家有什么经验，是不是一定得配个trolling motor （motor 好办，就是电池麻烦）？
有没有什么特别的牌子，型号可以推荐的？小弟也研究了一下，那种硬底的，虽然好，
可惜好像无法放进车里。
另外准备添个fish finder。 前两天订的humminbird 170被cancel了。索性来这里问问
，因为主要目标鱼是crappie，在湖里钓，有没有什么值得推荐的牌子/型号。

turns into San Luis Road, turn right at the first blinking light and this
will be 8-mile road. It is four miles from 61st St. to 8-mile road. It is
another two miles to Sportsman’s Road (alternate name is Anderson Ways) and

for launching, even as heavy as a fully loaded hobie, you basically can load
you kayak anywhere you want with a carrier.
i may be able to buy a used boat for the same price as hobie, but the chance
of further investment on boat (such as repairing and gas) is generally
higher than a kayak

你们州的通用规定。

If your knee cap is ahead of the paddle center, it is bad for your knee.

When paddling, make sure your feet is flat, like you are trying to get rid
of a piece of gum at the bottom of your shoes.

) - I got my Super EZ with skirt, paddle, PFD, helmet, and 2 floaters for
only $500 (which I haven't paid yet, :p)
anyway, if you are looking for a starter and you are only touring is good
weather/water condition, pelican is a fair choice, it is 2 pieces pressed
together, not mold poly, but it is cheap, you can find them at Costco, with
1 or 2 men versions, the packages includes paddle and skirt normally |

person boat. The inflatable show its significant weakness comparing to sea
kayak. Even among inflatable, some are much faster some are very slow. The
raft kind is the pain in the a**.
Paddle downstream paddling would show inflatable advantage. |

movements. Basically, in flat water, just move the boat vertical and hold, with or without paddle. Your upper body is kind of parallel to water surface. Eventually, you want make vertical rotation of the boat with control.

我们给COLORADO活动买的10只浆( 5 KAYAK + 5 CANOE)都将留在当地.
DENVER从战略角度来讲能COVER CO, UT, MT, IDAHO, NM, WY, 我们未来非ALASKA活动
大都从DENVER出发.
如果有可能+加当地热情, 希望以后OR+WA会有一个BASE.
希望今年的活动能建立一个西部漂流水上运动机制: 共享一些资源和共同承担责任.
如果去更复杂地方我们只能把PADDLE打成一个包裹托运. |

一般说commercial的rafting都会overstate它的难度。 上次， 我去飘了low new
river。 那边有两个rapid他们claim是5级， 但是我的feeling是应该是IV+. 而且如果你查american whitewater， 那段河就没5级rapid。但是dam release时的up gauley river应该会比low new激烈的多。
我觉得，如果要飘高级别的rapid， strong swim ability是很重要的。 因为你不能保证不翻船， 而在4+ 或5级rapid中游泳是有危险性的， 即使你穿救生衣。因为你可能被冲到石头的undercut上去， 从而被trap。 我倒是不担心我的paddle 能力。 因为我有长时间划 kayak （主要是 |

. We are trying to get in a hole (回头浪）, which can hold the boat. While
in it, you can make different maneuver, e.g. 前空翻, as the guy in the last
video did.
But once you are pushed out of the hole by the current, you can't get back
in directly, other than paddle up through the eddies at river bank and cut
in. Oh, you can also drop in the hole from upstream, but no one wants to

were doing well and wetsuit&Paddling Jacket(or half-dry paddling suit)
function very well.
We continue doing trips into Oct and Nov. Usually we end the season by mid-
sep. This Autumn in NE, water is high and temp is not cold.
10 days ago, we finish our first easy class IV trip in last three years.
Very well done and our rescue reach class III+ level for the very first time

This is a side not but language barriers can cause problems. I was leading
a group down Walker a few years ago. One kid in the group did not speak
English all that well (or should I say understand it when someone is
frantically yelling it from an eddy). I came over a horizon line to find a

before, many people that I know speak highly of him.
It is a class V rapid, and Bill was try to rescue a swimmer or a float-away
boat when fell off a fall. Autopsy indicate that he died of broken neck.
Without knowing that, a second group (folks who had never met Bill) of
paddlers placed themselves at great risk and mounted a immediate rescue at
