neb 学术不如sec+ATM.不过不是偶打击UT, UT即使到了pac 10也成不了cal, 到了acc也
成不了virginia。体育就是体育，还是不要整天把学术挂在口上。conference
alignment is all about money (i.e. football). college basketball都得靠边站，
要不kansas这样篮球名校都没人理。学术也就是个幌子，你还真信？UT现在最主要是能
找到个主子可以keep LHN.唯一有可能的conference可能就是big 12还有pac 10。要不
是河马要走，UT肯定不会出走的。 |

哪里都有经济危机，中西区比加州还差，NCAA项目也不见受到更大冲击
特别是篮球项目，上场5人而已，全队不过10多人，投入要比橄榄球项目小得多，因此
和学校大小，经济强弱关系更小。
篮球项目基本上就是教练问题为主，UK前两年也down着，后来来了卡帕，现在多风光。
相对比，UCLA的传统在，招生也不弱，一堆星星，至少是S16的配置，打成这样真怪不
得经济不好。
另外，指出来UC Berkeley也不是啥研究学校，说他家本科生少是想当然
2011年，
UCB, 25,885 undergraduates and 10,257 graduates.
UCLA，27,199 undergraduates and 12,072 graduates
从人数到比例两者基本相同，这绝对不是两者体育差距的主因
主要是学校附近黑人人口比例有差，且LA比北加对体育生有更大的吸引力罢了。
从经济入手分析NCAA，乃至整个体育界都往往会陷入绝望，如果只是经济说话，BAMA，
LSU，的成功那是相当不好解释啊

结果应该是1/(1+sCRon2)，类似于低通滤波器传输函数 |

funded school, has to have permissions for coach salaries. Our assistant's
salaries are in thousands, but SEC schools are paying assistant coaches in
million range. There is no competition there.
In pac 10/12, you already have USC, Oregon, Washington and Arizona with
unlimited budgets, now you put long horns and sooners in the mix, there is
no way a public school can ever compete. We don't have facilities, top notch

the University of Washington before.
He brought down both programs.
I went to CU Boulder in the early 90s. When he took over
CU Buffaloes, it was one of the power houses in the nation.
After several years under him, it collapsed.
Then he sweet talked his way to UW and got fired and
then to UCLA.
He is not only a proven loser but a lawyer by trade also.

Cal finished at 7th, 4th, 5th and 8th in pac 10..... I have a lot of
respects for Cal (especially on the amazing year of 2006, they got robbed
that year) but with the pay hike (thanks SEC and Big 12), both Cal and UCLA
have hard time to keep up
