我在Forest Hills住了若干年。走路15分钟到地铁站，加上至少25分钟到曼哈顿42街
PABT，再转车。现在搬到了新泽西，45分钟到PABT。
当然，如果住FH的话，如欢欢所说，你是NYC“城里人”---如果你喜欢这个身份的话。 |

Newark Penn station is not very safe at night, but no need to go there.
Just take the train straight to NYC Penn station which is reasonably safe.
If there are no more Amtraks, you can book a bus... Megabus has a
departure at 1:30am from near Penn station, Greyhound has a departure at
midnight from PABT (NYC subway is 24 hours if you need to go to PABT).
Book in advance to be safe. |

后来我早上去不同town的bus站问那里等车的人大概时间，发现我那里其实还行，coach
bus到pabt是non-stop的，早上大概50分钟，其中可能25-30分钟浪费在secaucus到
pabt那一段了。当然了，偶尔碰到特别糟糕的traffic，超过1小时的也有 |

倒是下午下班时候从PABT出发运气好可以10分钟就上turnpike |

发帖数: 6980 | 8 我经常是8点40，8点50左右下turnpike，那里有个收费站，然后就上专用道了。大部分
时候9点10几，9点20几到PABT。运气不好的话，光在那个收费站就耗掉10-20分钟。碰
上车少的时候（经常是周五早上）从turnpike到PABT仅10分钟。对我来说晚点程度比火
车能接受。
NEC线的火车，经常会因为供电，搬道，隧道有车故障等原因晚点。碰上下大雪，汽车
一天不正常，火车三五天 |

发帖数: 941 | 14 我坐过火车（两个月）也做过汽车（两年），感觉公交(NJT)和CouchUSA很方便灵活，
高峰时间进城一般一小时十分钟，避开高峰时间大约40分钟，车次也多，能直达PABT,
UN, Jersey City, Hoboken, 和Wall Street.
我不清楚公立小学能不能自由选校，不过新的charter school面向全EB招生。图书馆小
孩的书特别多，比我看见的所有NJ图书馆都好。中文书源不如Woodbridge, Piscatway
，比New Brunswick, Bridgewater好些。
好像这个区的台湾人在华人比例多些。另外上I-95方便但是GSP不太方便。 |

tell her to 1) follow people take escalator DOWN
2) follow the purple disc with number 7,
There will be about 3-5 minutes of tunnel walk.

在PABT等车回家的时候可以清楚看出族群分类
166T和166X就差一个门
T那边的人明显年轻,韩国人也更多,漂亮的韩国妹子也更多
X那边则白人多一些,年纪也大个10岁左右
158则基本上都是30出头的亚裔(不仅仅是韩国人了)
本人吊丝目前还在跟一群住WNY/NORTH BERGEN/FAIRVIEW的老墨排队候车

Ramsey elementary schools are very good.
Check out their library, it's something.
Nice downtown. good eats.
in addition to train, it has express bus to PABT. |

coach的bus，从gsp 172口上车一站到pabt，早上bus时间50分钟左右，上bus lane排
队30分钟的我这几年也就碰到过几次而已。
我一般7点10分出门，基本都在8点半以前坐在公司了。
晚上更快一些。
如果是火车，ramsey rt 17的express，一站到secaucus，只要半个小时的

会挤不上去吧？我应该是在Fairview Ave 和 Linwood Ave交界的站上车/下车。
还有就是考古发现有人说早上从turnpike出口到PABT会堵车半小时，不知道这个走法到
底可靠不。
有没有附近的同学帮忙解答下。多谢！ |

比MTA BUS的塑料硬座好多了
但确实舒适度和可靠性跟火车不能比
看上班地点离PENN STATION还是PABT更近了
TENAFLY确实是NJ排名前几位的好区
交通确实很蛋疼
前几年要延伸现有的轻轨线进去
貌似当地居民反对声音很大
不过就算轻轨进驻也对进城上班改善不大
除非是在WTC那附近的 |
