Cedar Mill 里是初中差一点，高中9分，再往西才是Bethany，小学初中10分，高中9分
。再往西就不太算Bethany，学校都是8分9分10分比较混，但距离Intel上班更近了，区
相对也更新。
Lake Oswego相对Intel上班的，每天堵车都够受的。 |

I think most of Chinese people live in Beaverton - which is close to Intel
and has a better school distric than Hillsboro. Lake Oswego has the best
schools - so it is kind expensive to live there.
Some people play soccer in Westlake Park in Lake Oswego - which is close to
Kruse Way. A number of Chinese folks also play soccer at Rock Creek in
Beaverton every Saturday afternoo |

，但是离轻轨站还是远。如果开车的话3个地方差不多，只要避过交通高峰期都还可以
。Lake Oswego是传统好学区，Bethany，Forest Height都是新兴好学区，其实也有很
多年了，但是和Lake Oswego比比较年轻。都挺好的 |

查了下Lake Oswego的学区不错，亚裔很少的样子，房子比较老，
不知道那些70年代或者之前的房子维护起来是不是很费劲费银子。
beavorton学区哪几小学比较好，还是光看评分就可以了，
之前看有人说Lake Oswego的高中，同是十分，但湖北湖南还是
有差别。
我们现在还在外州，想先打听清楚，然后一起去看，望版上朋友

Lake Oswego 去了。 因为他的小孩要上 high school. 那里的 high school 比
Portland's Lincoln High 好。 老师好， 教室好， budget 也多。 Lake Oswego
school district 有 private funding from their local residents (那里有钱人多)
plus state funding. Unlike state funding for education, Portland school
district only gets maximum 30%. 他的两个小孩现在是十四和十七岁数。 听说小学
和 junior high, 两边都差不多。 |

They don't really keep records of that with the house, but the inspector
will tell you that it can change since the plates in the ground are always
shifting and its possible for your radon to go up or down throughout the
years. Your neighbors house could have high radon and your house could have
almost 0 radon. Its very much a house by house basis but overall, I don't
think Bethany has that high of radon. Lake Oswego is known to have the most.

定Carina Liu因为她很热情，说话实在有条理。大约4月份左右，我们和中介一起疯狂
看了两天房，平均半小时一个从早看到晚，主要集中在Lake Oswego，应为离单位近学
区也好。看了几十个房子以后，基本对这个区有了了解。概括一下就是学区好，白人多
，有华人但不多，房子偏旧，采光差，好多房子都被参天大树环绕或是好多园艺，环境
虽好却难打理。有一些remodel的房子和个别新房，无奈囊中羞涩。其中也看了一些
West Linn的房子，印象挺好。但是当时觉得离上班稍微远了一点，暂时不考虑。
之后又开始去看Forest Heights。离单位近，学区好，房子新，中国邻居多，还有中文

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Parts of central New York have received an early
taste of winter after some areas received up to 9 inches of snow over the
weekend, causing numerous accidents in the Syracuse area.
The highest snow totals Sunday were in the neighboring Oswego County towns
of Mexico and Parish, 25 miles north of Syracuse.
Police say Sunday's icy conditions caused more than 50 accidents in Syracuse
