这个星期二我们班上有同学去某大型medical center 面试。
要求不高，BSN, GPA > 3.2。
她进去一看，一个大的会场，各种不同的展位：ER, OR, MedSurg, ICU, Orthopedic
Nurse, etc.
就ICU位置前面排队的人最多，有50-60人。
OR前面五六个人，MedSurg前面也不过二三十人。
Orthopedic前面一个人也没有。
她左右打听了一下，ICU今年招7个人。今天只是其中一场招聘会，估计有3场不止，可
能有150-200报名ICU。
7/150。
这种比例，基本没有我什么事情了，我还是有自知之明。我GPA 3.5，口语就这个样子
。我们班上公开要申请ICU的几个白妞，两个我知道的都是GPA 3.8, 聪明伶俐。
ICU怎么这么热啊，是不是大型教学医院我都没有戏了？是不是要去荒山野岭没有人愿
意去的地方投简历呢？

有韧带拉伤就算了，回头找针灸医生或者物理治疗师做康复。不过若是撕裂就要求家庭
医生推荐或自己找保险cover下的
orthopedic . 有韧带撕裂应该做手术。
不要直接去找orthopedic ,没有X光和MRI结果他们还是会让你回去拍片。
另外不要家庭医生推荐x光，原因是等待时间过长。医院ER最多让你等8个小时，家庭医
生帮你预约的X光可能要等上几天，所以你自己估算好哪个划算，如果能忍就让家庭医
生推荐。 |

us:
1) cancelling elective cases for this coming week (first cases to get
cancelled are orthopedics with cancer cases last)
2) the converted one of our surgical floors to a covid isolation floor (
basically moved all the general/uro/neuro/non ortho surgery patients to the
ortho surg floor

烦。你可以用自己的医疗保险，告诉人前台小姐是车祸。不过，你连自己的医生都没有
，这正常情况预约见个大夫可不容易，也许车祸会快些？不知道。另外，家庭医生是不
管这个的，你得找Orthopedics大夫，做X光，CT啥的看有没有骨头，肌腱损伤, etc.
还有，看你的保险条款，有PIP吗？你得先用这个，自己的保险。请自己google这是啥

，别自己着着急急和对方保险说话，说漏了嘴你就麻烦了。
1. 十有八九没戏
2. 找律师，他会给你安排见个 orthopedics 大夫，具体做啥，咋做，人家会和你商量
3. 你自己的保险有 PIP 的话，应该先用这个 cover，回头律师会给你把这个钱从对方
保险公司要回来，当然不止这个数儿，要不你拿啥赔偿，律师拿啥银子？
4. 既然撞的这么厉害，为啥当时不去ER? 啥车，撞成这样子能 total 不？

MCL sprain and stretch, ACL tear, meniscus damage
primary care建议手术，已经refer了一个orthopedic surgeon
还没约。
physical therapist的意见是
肌肉强度非常好，恢复很快，身体条件很可能适合手术要求
还没约Surgeon，想请教一下应该询问哪些内容
以及关于手术的知识，有什么网上资源可以了解一下
也请介绍我去阅读。
Surgeon应该也会跟我详细的说，我想多方面了解，特到这里来
求助大家，多一些知识心理多踏实一些。谢谢了。 |
