I presented in GPCE technical conference, but looks like
the GPCE is totally got overshadowed by OOPSLA.
The Microsoft DSL metamodeling kit is really what we
are interested in, since we currently use another
non-commercialed tool to build DSLs.
It should be available in the next a few days bah, right? |

Micheal Bond我也认识啦，好像还挺喜欢中国菜的。
架不住人家老板牛啊，又是ACM优秀论文。不过运气差了一点，他们组里同一年毕业的
博士，人家publication不如他的，都到牛校当faculty了。

related with software. i'm working on formal verification. i didn't have
chance to go to GPCE. :p yes, it is said so. do you still remember the

reason is that i submit to very good conferences: OOPSLA and ICSE. however, i
am still upset. it's quite difficult to work in this area. you can build
whatever model you like, but to prove that it is useful is very difficult. :( |

OO model for years and those concept are already in ppl's blood. in this
year's oopsla, there are someone presenting new OO language notations,
which is different from classic notation. there was guys asking why you
propose this while software developer are familiar with the opposite?
it's inherently hard to answer this kind problems. |

ASPLOS 是偏重arch的，50% attributes to arch, 25% to PL, 25% to OS.
USENIX ATC 比较偏system design and implementation, 很少涉及arch proposal.
EuroSys是最近5年的后起之秀，直接跟USENIX ATC竞争的。它家的notification
deadline通常就是ATC的submission deadline前一天。
如果是做OS/distributed System/Networked System:
OSDI, SOSP > USENIX, NSDI, ASPLOS > EuroSys
如果是做Arch:
ISCA ASPLOS > MICRO > HPCA
如果是做PL:
PLDI, POPL > ASPLOS > OOPSLA
