发帖数: 1 | 1 面试之前HR问过两次能不能合法工作，自己说谎说已经拿到EAD了（那时EAD的申请已经
提交超过3个月，估计差不多过几周能下来所以谎称已经有了），之后的面试顺利拿到
offer，公司要求1个月之后onboard。我向USCIS提交了加急EAD，但是两周过去了还在
review状态，Local的USCIS也跑了一趟，人家告诉我现在普通的EAD处理都要5个月了，
叫我回去等。眼看离onboard就只有一周的时间了，真是心急如焚。
我自己能想到和HR有两种解释（1）如实说自己EAD没办好（但是就承认了自己面试之前
撒谎了），（2）找个其他理由再拖一段时间（但这样入职时HR检查EAD的有效时间从而
知道EAD是最近才办好的？而且给offer的时间说要在家带娃已经把onboard的时间尽量
拖到一个月之后了，这次不知道找什么理由），但是不知道那种好，求助大家给点好的
建议。
现在自己最后悔不应该撒谎有EAD，搞到自己现在进退两难，真是自讨苦吃。 |

出来，就上船了，一直以为这个credit会自动到我账号了，后来下船前发现给的bill没
有把我认为有的credit考虑进去，今天打电话到customer service,他们说我的账户了
没有任何credit,是不是我自己搞错了？到底有没有onboard credit呢？ |

我说的是一个A/D转化器, 上面有onboard voltage reference. 这样可能, VDD如果有
小的波动, 也不会影响转化结果. 我查了一下, onboard voltage reference好象是用
一个二级管实现的. 输入的VDD的波动应该不会对onboard voltage reference有影响.
那位知道的给讲讲. |

发现read speed 跟RAID0一样。
当然write speed 还是RAID1的，跟单盘一样。

take a look at a typical diode's datasheet (1n4148 for example), pay
particular attention to the forward voltage drop vs. forward current curve,
and you will understand it.
very rarely an onboard voltage reference is just a diode. it is more like a
constant current source going into a diode, and with some feedback to
maintain stability and accuracy (aka tl431 style). |

然后结果虽然是要内部调动 但是电面 onsite也是一样不能少，又面design的又面算法
。
然后当时几个面试官和hiring manager给我留下的映像就是说 我们这里有onboarding
和user 2块。 c艹基本上现在仍在使用的legacy code 是user小组的。然后java是要
onboarding小组的， 同时 我们也要用java重写 那些c艹的很老的legacy code使得他
们 更加scalable。然后我之前在农村分部也是当java的码农 学校也是一直java，所以
应该就是把我放在onboarding小组里（此时仍是和job desc一致的）。
然后好不容易onsite也通过了 又要再来一轮senior director面试， 问了几个问烂
behavior后 就问我你对你要来的岗位清楚吗？ 我说我知道的，就是onboarding小组写
java。 然后director脸一板，说不是的，是user组 你要维护和开发C++legacy code,

have green card, so I didn't count their case. but for my co-worker, their

当然昨天买的硬盘到了,刷了个250弄了个盒子接了,arcade变成elite了.
噢,我wiki了一下,arcade有几种,最老的是memory unit的版本
后来是256MB onboard/ 512MB onboard.我的 arcade应该是512MB onboard的,可能就不
存在上不了LIVE的问题了.
