发帖数: 472 | 6 记得1995-1996年左右开始用internet玩桥牌，那个时候唯一的网上桥牌网站就是
okbridge，一年收费50美元还是
100美元。okridge的rating system做得不错，基本上世界级国家级的选手都在上面玩
，还有其他一些著名桥牌爱好
者。记得分数最高的一队成员，是legendary意大利蓝队的一个成员跟他老婆组成的队
（pipa and snabu?), 分数是
70多。巴菲特（tbone）跟比尔盖茨也做搭档在上面玩，巴菲特玩得一般分数大概50，
盖茨52左右。我的分数比巴
菲特高那么一点点。
多年以后有了一个免费的桥牌网站叫不bbo，巴菲特好像是捐助者zi之一p，发现以前
OKbrdge的名人高手都到了
bb0。巴菲特还是老样子，但盖茨已经成了高手。 |

一一做弊也是有的，本人也是知道的:-)
当年一一教我打牌的时侯，好象也这样干过一次，而且是在okbridge,
跟高手过招，结果副副打的巨妙，结果来了一群spectors.
但倒学到了很多，因为这很容易向你展视信号的运用，等等。。。。。。 |

一度保持60%以上(最高有63+吧)
后来他家里打电话过来了，一时犯土无数(在这之前也土了好几把)
总的感觉是那天有些对手比较弱，没碰到一一这样的高手(或者牌
很平淡，他们没有机会发挥)
印象深的一副牌，本来是pd主打，突然他死机了，几分钟后tourney
进来让我打庄：

Bobby took great delight in teaching and writing. I was
fortunate to be a part of both of these. His teaching table at
OKbridge was open and friendly and always well attended.

最后一节比赛开始时, 意大利队领先19IMP, 但波兰队在随后的
10副牌中连连得手, 反以244:233超出. 可惜好景不长, 意大利
队在最后6副牌中以35:5反败为胜, 其中三副牌连得27IMP.
这是自传奇式的蓝队隐退以来, 意大利队第一次染指奥林匹克
队式赛冠军. 至此, 意大利队在奥林匹克公开队式赛中四次折桂.

值得一提的是, 意队中仍有一位宝刀未老的原蓝队成员.

gib 我在okbridge上打过, 确实相当好, 但绝对到不了他们自己
吹的expert级别. 也就是intermediate-.
而且gib主要是打牌比较强, 叫牌相当弱. |

like Benito Garozzo, Soloway...
My biggest problem is I don't have a strong partner in real life,
sigh. |

My partner in China is still playing for Beijing Junior team.
If I stayed in China, I may have chance to attend national junior
team, now here, I just play on line for fun. Anyway, if you want to
enjoy good competition, okbridge is a much better choice.
You can find some really strong players there, much better
than playing in local club. |

playing okbridge who just won 2000's Olympiad for Italy.
He's one of the best players now.
I played against him twice in MP games, won quite a few.
Garozzo plays about 100 boards at OKB every week as well.
But scheduling a game with him is hard.
I met Mashall Miles, Hardy there too. Seems playing bridge on line
becomes more and more popular among top players. I just finished
Mashall Miles competitive bidding in 21st Century, where he used
a lot of boards coming from O |

states now.
ACBL's convention card is colored in yellow, that's probably where SAYC got
its name from. that shows how popular it is here.
In terms of bidding in internet bridge, IMHO, it is all about CC. When you
partner with strangers. don't assume s/he has ever used or understood unusual
2NT, for example, if not mutually agreed as an additional convention. Had
played in OKBridge for long time, i would always tell my stra |
