OFHEO主任法尔科恩同时警告，由于这家美国最大的住房抵押贷款公司身陷会计丑闻，其
所造成的不确定性将对住房供应市场带来打击，使购房者成功申请贷款的几率大幅下降。
房利美公司由于涉嫌操纵收入等问题，去年秋天受到OFHEO的指控，美国证交会也责令其
重新申报2001年-2004年的收入情况，估计重新公布的数据将 “擦去”高达110亿美元的
虚报收入。随着新疮疤”源源不断地被揭开，美国司法部业已插手此事，正着手对房利美
进行犯罪调查。
在最近的一次国会听证会上，即将于下月卸任的法尔科恩证实，有房利美雇员曾于1998年
在财务报表中伪造签名帮助公司达到收入目标，使公司最高管理层“堂而皇之”地将2700
万美元绩效奖装入囊中。
当被问及会否有更多的发现浮出水面，法尔科恩说：“当调查持续深入时，我们很有可能
会找到更多的问题。”他同时补充道，如果OFHEO不能纠正房利美所存在问题的话，“我
认为它们最终可能会演变为更具危害性 |

发帖数: 5610 | 7 未来5-10年，纽约附近名义房价应该再跌5-10%,实际房价跌25%。这个过程应该是缓慢
的。名义房价的下跌不一定这么准，但是实际房价下跌25%是必然的，其实就是说未来
10年，房价上升速度绝对绝对绝对不会有通货膨胀率高。
用Case shiller monthly index或者ofheo的quarterly index，然后加BLS的CPI指数很
容易就可以算出实际房价会再下降。
和股票不一样，房子价格是可以预测的，比较难预测的是房价上升下降的拐点，但是因
为现在已经是下降趋势，并且远远没有到历史均衡点，所以实际房价必然会下降到历史
均衡点。东部历史上从来没有什么实际房价调整到一半再反弹的。 |
