那些office里可提高利用率的地方还是挺多的。最重要的一条就是能数字
化的一律数字化。像俺office里真正有用的家具就是一个5层书架，一个
文件柜，一个能放两个monitor的写字台，一个office chair，还有就
是俺的宝贝pushback recliner。其他decoration之类的一律弄墙上。

陈年饮料罐，很担心随时跳出个老鼠来。当然后来他有了别的admin的地方也很少去了
。最近去了医学院一个前辈office，是一排靠墙的桌子，上面一排灯，一个椅子，比较
现代化的设计。除此之外literally 没有任何其他东西，看不见一张纸一个folder，全
部人大惊。这个前辈是很会organize的人。
回来再看我，还不到一年几乎已经把书架塞满了，巨型binders就20个，包括教书
research service的。是不是我太纠结了？连每次lab meeting agenda都收集在一个
binder里，也不知道有何用？开系会的时候全部人包括系头都是拿两张纸，只有我搬着
个大binder。不过有几次提起前面的会议，我马上翻到当页，也挺爽的。就是不知道这
样下去office何时挤爆呀？ |

估计leasing office的人以为是bed bug，把我们房间全翻了一遍，然后说有虫，要求
我们出1200刀除虫。我去啊！我们的家具全都是新买的，而且住了快一年了从来没有被
咬过什么的，怎么忽然就说有虫！
我们说太贵了，我们要求自己找公司，office说找的公司绝度比这个贵，而且还得通过
他们公司approve云云。
请问我现在应该怎么做呢？我觉得我家应该是没虫的，如果有，这个1200是正常价格吗？

4/26 我们尝试找别的除虫公司，都被office给否决了，说不能approve，然后尽早强行
进来除虫，把我们都赶了。直到现在我们都不知道我们房间到底是有虫没虫，感觉很憋

不知道大家有没有被leasing office黑过，请求JM们，帮忙出出主意，怎么跟黑心的
leasing office argue。
因为生宝宝爸妈过来帮忙，所以不得不租一个2 bedroom，因此换了一个community。
原来的Apt.做pre-move-out inspection的时候，说我们一切都好，只要付清理地毯和
professional clean的200刀就好。
在我们搬家之前我特意还给他们写了一封信，能不能做second inspection，但是他们
一直没回，我就交了钥匙搬家了。结果最后给我们来了一个700多刀的账单，说tub 和
kitchen counter都resurface 了。
我不是有洁癖，但是肯定忍受不了counter脏，每次做饭完，绝对都是打扫的干干净净
的。而且我们做饭也不是那么多，不知道这个counter为什么我们搬出去后再换。再就
是tub，进来之前也不是很干净，而且当时还重点跟office的人提了。他们没换，想到

合mac系统的office，国内有售，就是据说真心不好用。
美国买的mac版office是没有办法变成中文版的，语言选择中文，也是只能输入中文
，我就酱紫上当了一次，因为那个适合mac系统的office是微软的产品不是苹果的产品
，microsoft就是没有apple给力，windows系统到现在都不能多语言自由选择安装。
另外还有一种方案就是安装个虚拟机，淘宝上20多人刀搞定，这个我买过，店家还
赠送可以正式注册的windows系统，可以升级，然后在那个虚拟机的系统里你可以随便
安装office了。 |

标 题: 请教OPT申请，USCIS office选择问题

我在加州上学，去东部工作
明年3月份毕业，毕业前用CPT工作，毕业后用OPT工作
请问OPT的申请是寄给USCIS在Phenix的office 还是Dallas的office? 谢谢！
我目前还在学校（加州），11月中去东部上班，但是地址不确定。
我可以用朋友在加州的地址，也可以等过去找好住处后用那边的地址（但是这样的话申
请日期opt开始日期就只有60天了。）
但无论如何，我的学校地址和工作地址分属不同的office负责。不知道这样会不会被要
求REF?谢谢！

发帖数: 70 | 42 LD终于要毕业了，但是工作找在了很遥远的另一个城市A。我的公司在A市有office,还
比较喜欢现在的公司不想辞职另找，因此想内部tranfer过去，不知怎么跟公司说比较
好。 不知版上有没有这么操作的同胞，谨请赐教， 不胜感激！
我的情况：
（1） 在现在的office工作一年零三个月了
（2） 这边office对我的工作比较认可 （刚promote了一级）
（3） 在咨询公司上班，工作基本只需要电脑和电话，transfer过去后还可以跟现在的
office合作
（4） 无绿卡，H1B刚刚批了还没生效。

infopass office要开5个小时！！可是lz所在地明明有uscis的local office而且我也
在那里打了指纹。。。请问这种情况我可不可以直接walkin 这个local office？他们
有没有相关的资料可以帮我查呢？谢谢了。。。祝大家都早绿！ |

写成了 XM1234。现在查USPS网站，说已经DELIVER了。怎么办？我怎么知道这个
OFFICER XM1234会不会把我的693给FORWARD到OFFICER XM1243手里？各位谁有类似的经

Any one knows where David Yao is? I submitted the payment and now waiting
for the draft for letters. No response. Also the office phone numbers was

今天早上7:35开始面试，8:05 am结束，12:00 短信提示“your case is now updated
”， 然后到USCIS网站上查，显示“ We ordered your new card…”。
趁着还记得，把这个过程写下来，以供不幸被安排面试的朋友参考。
简单的timeline:
09/2014—I140 approved (EB1a)
10/08/2014—I485 RD, NSC
04/28/2015--Case was transferred to NBC
09/25/2015--Case was ready to be scheduled for an interview
10/05/2015--Interview is scheduled on Nov 9, 2015.
11/09/2015—Interviewed and approved
Case被Transferre以后Congressman帮忙问过3次，自己做过一次InfoPass。
面试经过：
夫妻二人，把小孩也带去了。Interview schedule time... 阅读全帖 |
