they are gorgeous to look at, weighty, balanced, and the brushes are great
too. These are taklon brushes...non animal hair. This is great for the
many who are allergic to animal hair, or who want to choose a kind route.
The box and the roll make them very giftable. I am keeping these, however!
Btw, these are much more expensive on amazon or the ABT site.

招唤邪恶的戒指
美国电影“魔戒”（The Lord of the Rings），是今年奥斯卡奖项提名最多的
电影。该电影改编自英国牛津大学的教授托尔金（J.R.R.Tolkien，基督徒文学家
C.S.Lewis的好友）之同名小说。
小说中的魔戒，是魔王索隆（Sauron）倾全力造出来的戒指。索隆可以通过它
以邪恶统治世界。而这枚能使人隐形、长寿，获得超然能力的戒指，彷佛也有某种
自我意见，它会伺机而动，被邪恶召唤，也召唤邪恶。
因此，当魔王在战争中遗失了戒指之后，每一个无意间拥有它的人，都会遭逢
心灵的强烈试探。他们知道它的危险，却无法割舍这个危险，戒指成为一种诱惑，
并因为每个人有不同的软弱之处，呈现著不同的诱惑。最后，不能战胜这诱惑的人，
会被索隆彻底控制。
因此，当魔戒落入善良的矮人族，即哈比族（Hobbit）的族人手中时，就成立
