：
INA 222(g)规定：非移民签证持有者逾期居留，则签证自动失效。（If an alien over
stays on a nonimmigrant visa, that visa is automatically voided. ）这个条例对
B签证尤其适用，关键在于是否有非法居留期，具体来说：
1. 如果B2签证持有者未申请延期而居留超过I94上限定的时间，适用以上条例，签证失
效；
2. 如果B2签证持有者居留超过I94限定时间，之前已经及时申请延期或申请改变身份，
而申请得以批准的，不适用以上条例，签证仍然有效；
3. 如果B2签证持有者居留超过I94限定时间，之前已经及时申请延期或申请改变身份，
而申请被拒绝的，被拒绝时申请人仍然在美国境内，适用以上条例，签证失效；

6. 持单程票入境会有麻烦吗？
美国法律规定B-2签证持有者必须出示能最终及时离开美国的 "finanancial
arrangement" 的证据。对很多中国来访者来说，双程票可能是必须的。没有双程票，
有可能会被拒绝入境甚至被航班拒绝登机，当然也有可能顺利入境。本版有父母来访在
海关被要求出示回程票的先例。
