taxes. Is my employer responsible for all the taxes I missed? After received
my email, HR only replied that "We are currently researching this, but will
notify you once we have the details". But they did not follow up and simply
started the deduction from my paycheck.

Noon, LD's phone received text message. My email box didn't receive email

7月开始准备推荐信，找了不少模板；写信过程中，得到美国同事在语言上的大力帮忙
，所以写的过程还算轻松。然后联系推荐人，到月底的时候基本凑齐。此过程中，欧洲
人回信比较慢，甚至不回；日本人也不回信；可能是暑假的原因，他们都度假去了。
同期开始联系学校国际办公室，国际办公室可以办，但是要求苛刻（所有推荐信都要原
件），且速度据说比较慢——而钱只比外面律师便宜几百块。所以再三权衡后用了他们
指定的律师之一。
8月初和律师签了合同。然后整理材料（文章、引用、评审、推荐信），都打印成PDF。
全程都是Email或电话联系，真人长啥样我都不知道。另外，律师写的PL在递上去之前
，我一眼也没看到。结果在我拿到他们CC给我的COPY时吓一跳，稀松四页纸，基本就把
我给他们的材料列了个清单而已，甚至还把我家LD的名字打错了（包括I140表格上），
到现在我都觉得后怕，幸好没遇到杀手。（律师准备的PL，其实cover letter，见附件）
出生公证、体检是在I140提交上去之后的等待期间办理的。

We transferred this case because the record indicates that office has

已经一个月了，也没有任何进一步的消息。看到Processing Time那个网站，NBC根本就

简单讲讲经历：
其实早期办得比较顺利，PERM七天批了，I140也只用了10天。然后就是漫长的排期。没有REF过，虽然中间也丢了工作，紧张了一段时间。现在看来，即使没工作也照样拿绿卡。 所以没工作或换工作的XDJM不要紧张。
