虽然标题是 Neuron to Nirvana， 也找了不少PhD， （竟然还有一个非常
老的 post doc， 哈哈哈）， 一个MD， 可惜说地非常general，
开头就是说至幻后“看到”的其实和冥想以后“觉知的”差不多， 没啥佐证， （
说是找过一组人）， 接着就是抨击政府对至幻药物监管太严， 导致大家要做
research 比较难， 等等
Neurons 说地很少， Nirvana也说地很少
个人感觉是左派出资拍的， 如果调查调查， 估计有
producer或者出钱的人的父母是曾经的嬉皮士。。。。哈哈哈
12-13年刚好是要大麻要在美国合法化斗争比较激烈地时候
这个时候出这种纪录片的purpose 不言而喻啊
至于是不是苹果， 如果仅仅是用禁果来代表至幻剂的被禁，

近日，我校物理学院陈勇副教授与其博士研究生俞连春等共同合作的研究论文《
Detection of subthreshold pulses for neurons with channel noise》在Physical
Review E发表以后，被国际权威期刊《Nature》主办的“nature CHINA”网站评为最新
研究亮点（http://www.nature.com/nchina/2008/081126/full/nchina.2008.278.html）。网站还为该论文撰写了题为《Neurons: Needing noise》的评论，对陈勇副教授等研究人员的研究成果进行了介绍和描述。
该项研究发现，离子通道噪声有助于单个神经元的阈下弱信号的检测。研究同时表
明，单个神经元的检测存在比较大的误差，而对于神经回路来说，可以得到很可靠的弱
信号探测结果。这种类型的共振现象，对于其他系统，如手机弱信号的可靠检测具有参
考价值。

看了下google的paper，所谓的识别猫，就是说他们（从几千万个里）发现有一个
neuron，输入是cat得出来的activation值和非cat的出来的值呈现明显的不同的正态分
布。因为没有label，所以各大媒体说Ng他们是第一个能让机器自动识别猫的人。
首先，这个neuron的找出来，是需要人类知识的，所以是不是不能叫他严格的无监督学习
其次如果聚类算法足够快，是不是也能识别出来。 |

feature），再port到R里面做后续的分析。
R本身目前没什么很好的并行运算包，楼主可以看看snow package，是一个相对比较成
熟的并行计算包，不过也是需要手动分割数据给各个计算终端，没有mapreduce自动化
程度高
deep learning的话，大部分都是deep neural networks，现在还是GPU是主流，因为要
train的neuron太多了，每个neuron的计算又相对很简单，正好适合GPU核多但是单个核
计算能力和存储都弱的特点，自学下opencl或者cuda，其实跟C差不多，而且现在有一
些现成的deep learning的GPU包，这个R真的不是很适合 |

少问题 大家帮忙哈
1 感觉文章行文逻辑有点奇怪 按说既然打算做mammal的Co2 sensing 首先要做的肯定是
看behaviorally动物怎么感知Co2 感知的浓度范围阿 对年龄性别温度湿度circadian r
hythm有没有要求 这些数据对他们做后来的电生理/imaging都是必需的 可是他们却把行
为放到fig4 把CAII+ neuron的molecular identity放到fig1 俺理解得对不对？
2 还是和1有关的。CA和CO2 sensing有关看起来在别的动物里做过不少了，不过CAII在
mouse里和CO2 sensing有关应该是第一个报道。那么当他们发现CA inhibitor能够影响
CO2 sensing behaviorally之后 如果想要知道这些CAII-expressing neuron的molecul
ar nature的话最简单的方法就是做个micorarray看看CAII+ cell里面还表达什么特殊的
东东。不过他们却很奇怪的从PDE |

Austrilian Claire can now move her leg a little bit.I guess it may attribute
to the growth factor injected in umbilical cord blood to stimulate the
existing interneurons to make processes to connect the injuried distal and
intact proximal cortical spinal tracts.
Does really the stem cells injected in the spinal differentiate into neurons
and these neurons know where to make the proper connections ? hard to
believe it. |

took so much trouble to get the selectivity right, and it is a great
improvement.
If ChR2 is selective for Na but not for Ca or Mg it will be much better.
Ca do so much more than depolarization. If we want to ultimately
introduce the channel into the brain to stimulate some neuronal cell, it
is better it won't cause Ca overload.
TRPV1 like ChR2 is non-selective cation channel that causing pain

而synapses总共有10^15个
可能主要问题是有时memory提取机制不是很有效
而且memory管理机制有问题，不停地在被新的信息修改，即使不愿意修改 |

理解为什么只死DA neuron 而且位置还特殊）。但是拿到体外培养成iPS，只要能模拟
出个条件让他们比control iPS->neuron死的快死的早，直接上RNAi screen或者small
molecule screen就行了，我觉得根本不需要彻底模拟体内环境 呵呵 我现在崇尚暴力
