steroid, and on tube feeding but without h/o DM, started sliding insulin.
Their BS most often are below 250 before starting sliding scale, and range
from 150-200 after starting sliding scale.
Questions:
1. Does this way prevent triggering Pre-DM?
2. How important to control BS in such scenario? There is no big difference
before/after starting sliding scale.
I would like to see more input for this case. |

Step3考场壮烈回来。第一天挺累人，最后一个block甚至做到有心无力状，看着题反应
不过来，导致来不及做完。非常没有信心能否通过。所以match之前先考Step3的童鞋，

MCQ没有资格说，CCS有一点小感受，拿出来分享下。大家请轻拍砖。
复习资料：
UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

be triaging for the MD and determine if a situation is urgent or not.Doctor'
s office usually only has 1-2 RNs (the area I was doing my clinical studies)
, so other than many phone calls you receive each day, you will be
responsible for treatment too, like nebulizers, EKG,etc... Good luck! |

glucose increases insulin. It works like insulin plus glucose. The dose you
need is about 20 to 30 mg . It will take about 30 mins to work and last
about 2 hours. It will lower K about 1 meq. You need to realize that the
normal albuterol MDI is about 90 mcg per puff, the normal albutero you use
through nebulizer is 2.5 to 5 mg per dose. It will take 15 mins to complete

发帖数: 77 | 29 原来说好到货了以后报告大家。其实是星期一到的，但前两天车被追尾，上班
又有点忙就拖到今天了。
一个一个说吧，Nebulizer Diffuser House Model，还不错，是我找到的卖得最
便宜的。说是基本上没有声音，其实如果没有别的背景声，晚上睡觉开还是会
觉得有点吵，也可能是我放得太近。带一个timer，这样可以隔几个半小时开
半小时，这样比较节省EO,也防止空气中太饱和了。
organic lavender bulgaria 和我以前买的france产的比较了一下，这次买的
10ml好像没有以前多。闻起来新买的味道高调一些，还是喜欢原来的，可能是
先入为主吧。
Eucalyptus闻起来和我以前在both&body买得没有什么不一样，这不过这次是
纯的，所以味道强烈一些。
peppermint闻起来就像薄荷糖，没有可以比较的。tea tree oil明显比我在
drug store买的要纯正。
我还买了roman chamomile hydrosol和lavender hydrosol，因为买一送一，
一共有4瓶4oz的。chamomile的很喜欢，但第一次用lavende |
