平时博文的主题比较严肃，今天突然兴起，想起一个笑话，与诸君分享。
在美国生活了久了，学会了一些英文骂人的话，见到一些愚蠢的事，难免会骂一句“白
痴”（idiot）或“弱智”（moron）。我女儿比儿子大三岁，记得女儿六、七岁时，曾
问起什么是idiot和moron。我书念得太多，难免迂腐，于是随手从书架上拿下一份韦氏
词典，查到idiot和moron的解释：
Idiot：an adult with the mental capacity not exceeding a 3-year-old.
白痴：一个智商不超过三岁儿童的成人。
Moron：an adult with the mental capacity of an 8- to 12-year-old.
弱智：一个智商相当于八至十二岁儿童的成人。
当时才三、四岁的儿子听到“白痴”和“弱智”的解释，茅塞顿开，说出一番非常精辟

台湾现在在吃老本 再不求进步 等著被淘汰吧
