今年是「猴年」，在一般人的印象中，猴子是聪明的灵长类动物，但是「Monkey」在美国
俚语多半形容淘气鬼、捣蛋鬼、呆瓜，或是惊慌、笨拙、不熟练的事情。
据一九九七年出版的美国俚语历史辞典（Historical Dictionary of American Slang）
中，有关「猴」子的俗语如下：
「Monkey on my back」：起源于十九世纪晚期，意即芒刺在背、乌烟瘴气挥之不去，令
人厌烦不已；到了一九四Ｏ年代则变成对某事成瘾，例如特别是毒瘾等。

MR 和 12 monkeys， Terminator 很相似。区别在于，Terminator 和12monkeys 是从未
来回到过去，并试图改变未来。但是12 monkeys 里直到最后Willis 也没能改变future。
而MR是从现在前进到未来，并去改变未来。因为有很多种"Alternate future", future总
是可以被改变的。就像john说的：“你要接住那个球？因为你知道它会掉到地上”。另外
MR 里那个戴sunglass的人的创意,似乎有抄袭12 monkeys 里那只熊的痕迹。
MR里情节基本上还是说得通的，虽然也有几个”漏洞“。可几乎所有的电影都会有一些情
节上的“硬伤“。除了documentary, 电影总归是Fiction. 而甲凭空想出来的东西总会有
一群乙嚷嚷“不合理“。看电影又不是做数学证明。尤其是这种scifi片，你不能要求导
演能先把时空穿梭的原理讲明白了再放故事吧。总有一些情节观众懒得去想为什么，于是

In some outside reading I
found Borel's "dactylography monkey" question, which states that with
probability equal to 1,a monkey hitting keys at random on a
typewritter will eventually type a copy of any given book. By
Kolmogorov's 0-1 law (that the probability of occurance of a tail
event is either 1 or 0) it's easy to see;but I came to the point of
proving the monkey's hitting keys is a tail event.

对学校的playground的monkey bar觊觎已久了。
可惜她人太小，胳膊太短，只能在第一格晃悠两下，就掉地上了。
昨天带她到另一个大的playground，竟然发现了给小一点孩子玩的monkey bar。把她抱
上去试试，
居然真的三两下就荡到头了。兴奋的小丫头一口气玩了三四个来回。
比老妈当年强的不是一点半点啊。
