从2009年底开始，几乎每星期一次的频率，我已经走在这个山上很多回了。这个山，是
我的后花园，我的gym，我的心灵港湾。每次爬完，不仅仅是身体得到锻炼，整个心也
得到了梳理，宁静了很多。我曾经想过，如果我死了，我也会要求把骨灰撒在这个山顶
上。每天看着日升日落，看着湾区的万家灯火，我想只有这样，我才得以永久安息。

is my temple.
每天走在Mission Peak Trail的人很多，大多数人都是为了锻炼身体，也有不少游客。
每天都有一群的附近中学的学生大呼小叫的簇拥着上到山顶，就是为了拍张在山顶金属
杆子上展翅飞翔的照片。也有一些常客，固定的时间来，固定的时间走。默默的跑步上
山，然后再跑步下山。在周末的清晨或者傍晚，满山的登山客像赶集一样，去到山顶去
看那每日不同但每次都让人感动的风景。那时段，整个trail上人头攒动，山脚下的路
边停满了车。来晚了，你只能停到很远的地方，增加不少的距离和爬升。
湾区的人们就是这么喜欢这个trail, 这个山。可惜，70%以上的登山客不是老中，就算

闲得慌，纯做雷锋。湾区很小，MSJ更小，学校／家长关系紧密。如果再有几个娃，家
长之间没有几个不认识的。
从名声而言：

最好的是Mission San Jose小学：社区最破。但是有可能有便宜得要死超级小黑屋的
deal（相信捡漏抢得也快）。
其次是Gomes小学：房子比较新。
然后是Chadbourne小学：有最新的房子。当然光猛大屋不便宜。
以上三个都是老牌10分小学。
Mission Valley传统上不是10分。如果是上初中、高中，不失为经济的选择。
从地理位置看：

最好的是Chadbourne：从小学到高中都在步行范围
其次是Gomes：等上初中、高中了，走路也能走得到

1、当年是湾区唯一从小学、初中到高中的全10分校区。
》“当年”是哪一年？全10分校区一直不少吧！
2、Fremont顶得住压力。很多学区，如Cupertino，借口经费紧张砍掉天赋学生的差异
性因材施教教育。
》Fremont现在是Commoncore的排头兵。初中数学和科学都已经遭殃了门，高中马上受
影响。哭都来不及了还好意思自夸！
3、跨族裔教育水平划一。没有其它学区亚裔独大的问题。亚裔、白人、西裔升读UC的
机会最均等。说明亚裔上补习班也没有其它学区来的比其它族裔狠。

4、没有抽签问题。近年来极少听说overflow。不像某些Cupertino小学还要抽签。少了
一重不确定性。

剧情他妈的跟以前的太雷同了，而且整个story develop都非常牵强附会。里面的
tchnology也没啥wonder,比如mission impossible 1里出现的zip drive,在电影院里出
现的时候市场上还没开始卖呢，而且那时候ham radio modem也是非常pioneer的idea.
但这个mission impossible里有啥让人眼前一亮的technology?完全没有。连车都不是
hybrid的。
总之，电影里除了几个老态龙钟的胖男人无聊的打斗外，基本没啥让人wonder的玩意。 |

按照无数先烈的大数据总结，回程（从237/101起算、无carpool lane、无accident）：
237转880或出N McCathy Blvd；
880靠最右线出Dixon Landing；或McCathy接Dixon Landing
Dixon Landing转Milmont Dr；
标准是Milmont转左进Kato Rd；接Warren Ave；接PPP。
现在Warren施工断了可右转Kato Rd；
Scott Creek上680出第一个Mission；过了Durham后U turn再右转进Durham右转进PPP。
或转Warmspring Blvd转E Warren接PPP。
下午5点前50分钟应该能到MSJ。
如果能走carpool lane：
237 carpool lane直至最后一块牌子出carpool lane走最右线的常规弯道接880
880后保持最右车道出Dixon Landing；
转California Cir直走车道；
重上880走carpool弯道；

发帖数: 1777 | 39 7-8AM左右，84转101北上桥就靠右很顺畅，能走45迈吧。84转101南上桥靠左两线就开
堵，是full stop那种。237的carpool lane最低走75迈，走80迈以上也大有人在。84可
没有这样的好事。因此237比84短，速度又快，如果有carpool是完胜84。880往南过了
Mission并不堵，堵在转237。但是也比84转101南要好得多。剩下MSJ上880走PPP接
Mission一路上绕开了所有能绕开的热点（也有人680出Scott Creek接880，避开
Mission），每天时间很稳定。所以Ardenwood到MTV不大可能快于MSJ。如果走carpool
lane更是无法可比。试过有三哥的rush hour记录从Ohlone College到Symantec是25分
钟（赶present powerpoint）。诀窍是有多条候选local，红灯右转，237上carpool
lane开到90迈。
我也没说MSJ到MTV比CU到MTV快。就是慢不了多少。如果不是有人亲身实践按秒表，谁

fee，共49块。利利普，掐指一算，嗯，$49爽18回，还可以。

当然是在 Mission College了，就是 AMC Mercado 旁边，就是利利普在某个
周末上驾校的旁边。好，废话少说，说说场地吧。球场是 mission college

，我想就算了吧，不去那儿了。
现在难办的是，有的要写一个 statement regarding your understanding of our
mission statement.从来没写过这个东东，如何下笔？
Mission 有一条是“to promote the moral, spiritual and religious values of
its students” 。如果不信教，是不是最好不要去这些学校了？
