不再有优秀“白人”工程师，因为工程界被我们中印垄断了，我们全撤出美国美国不就
垮了吗？嘻嘻，看来大家还是爱美国多一点，不管正面的负面的，想美国想得那么多挺
不容易，其实中国人才储备问题更大。
老中觉得白人最喜欢的科目是经济金融医学院，其实并不完全，传统美国人还有一个非
常热门的学习方向，就是自然资源，很多学校有natural resources学院，干一些相当
于国内农学生物环境土壤森林专业的事情，白人比例那是相当的高，中国这些专业全在
起步阶段，积累程度没法比，更没法比的是生源，我接触过某省农大青年教师，纯粹靠
学术作假混日子，那些人去中国牛校在职读博，读完了回原单位准备积累业绩升副教授
，好些人论文基本靠编，中国学农学环境的又是什么人？四五流学生，对比美国老传统
农工学校实力都很强，农业经济，林业，environmental study，公共卫生并非不热门
，我们单位年年夏天招intern，招来简历一大堆，全是附近好学校的，michigan，
purdue，wisconsin，minnisota，chic |

贝勒,TCU这些曾经年弱势股,搞些鱼腩来提升战绩可行, 但是真要在委员会面前排队进
playoff,得转变思路, 至少要多打象TCU对Minnisota这种比赛.

It is a good school over all.
There are several big companies over there, like bestbuy,3m, etc.
think it in two extreme directions:
1. if economy turns around, your minn mba can help u to find a job.
2. if economy keeps bad, your minn mba is free, but if u apply next year,
more competition and the chance to get into top program is still small, not
even mention the money.
so overall, choose minn mba is a best choice at this moment, school wise,
program wise, a |

发帖数: 11 | 30 主要看诉苦的人是哪一届的了.04年前毕业的,就业率都不高,因为market太坏.现在,前14
学校的中国学生,基本上100%拿大所的offer.
在各方面条件相同的情况下,法学院的排名绝对起很大作用.但是在同一档次的学校里,象
duke跟G'town这样两个排名只相差几名的学校,那当然location会起些作用.或者是同是20
名左右的U Minnisota,和usc相比,USC的优势自然大.
其实前14里头,也就是U Mich, Cornell, Duke离major market远一些,但是绝大多数大律
所,根本afford不起不到这些学校去recruit.
总之就是能进前14一定要进.进不了,首选Fordham, USC, UCLA, George Washington等等
这样location上占优势的学校.
