technician。
在Georgia, 她以前大学教授家养了一只siamese， 叫做Ming（这名字很中国）。神奇
的是，Ming永远生活在那幢房子里。并非他永远不死，而是每当一个Ming离开，那家人
就弄来一只新的Ming－－siamese，male，一模一样，当然名字也一样。
我无法理解是什么样的philosophy， 每次想起来都有点糁的慌。

读明末历史时我一直有个疑问：为什么满洲从一个没见过大炮的国家，迅速成为火炮犀
利远远胜过明朝、攻陷扬州只需要一天的攻城民族？
后来看到朱森围攻南京，有很多倭刀步兵和火绳枪步兵，我忽然想到，很可能日本为
Ming和Qing都提供了大量的雇佣兵，朱森的精锐部队其实全是日本人。
换句话说，明的火炮队是向葡萄牙人或是河南人买的，可能连炮带人；满洲的火炮来源
应该是在征服朝鲜后，获得了与日本贸易的通道，然后向日本借的。
众所周知，日本大概1548年就接受了洋枪，稍后造出了大筒，到Ming Manchu War的时
候已经过了70年，又经历战国时代的洗礼，枪炮技术应该不弱于西方，远远胜于明和满
清。

我去剪并烫过，ming的工作方式成本很低但收费却和他的成本不相符。而且剪得不怎么
样，确切说，是我觉得他的taste不怎么样。我是尝试过nnnnn种发型的人，而且都有照
片留念，每次我问我朋友我以前这个发型好不好看，那个好不好看的时候，一到ming给
我剪的那张时，我朋友都说不好看！
总之他给我的印象是话说得很漂亮，如果你在剪之前想多interview几家的话，他可能
会是胜出的那一家。
去过那么多地方，剪过那么多种发型，还是在沈阳的一为农民出家的师傅剪得好。。版

那天玩回来，实在是想找一家中餐，发现美味居离住的地方比较近，就去了。菜样式太
少就罢了（14.99刀的话，我们本地的buffet比它好得不知多少了）。TNND盘子明显没
洗干净，洗洁精的泡沫清晰可见。我换了好几个盘子，终于找到一个看着干净点的。最
崩溃的是，几个服务员坐在那里，都在用手机打游戏或者用笔记本上网。点的茶没了，
半天不来加，剩的盘子也不来拿走。最后只好起身叫他们。但是最后看在同胞份上，还
是给了20%小费。
那个明苑（Ming Court,在International Dr上），就更别提了。头天就去那里吃晚饭
，一坐下，服务员就问，你们是来玩的吧？我当时就心里咯噔一下。问这话是准备区别
对待啊还是怎么着？LD嘴快，说是啊。然后点菜：一个鱼香茄子煲（再三给服务员强调
是要煲，因为它菜单上没有，但是服务员说可以做），一个crispy 排骨（本来想点椒
盐排骨，但是没有，服务员说可以做crispy 排骨，主要是点给儿子吃），一个辣椒牛
肉，一个蒜蓉芥兰。
结果菜上来了，鱼香茄子煲是用盘子端上来的茄子炒肉丝，问服务员，她说这就是他们

朋友讲话尤其感人T_T 从37分开始是女生好友发言。
usc校长发言，工程院院长发言，学生会主席发言，受害男女生的好友代表发言，双方
父母坐在台下，都说的真诚感人，催人泪下。。。usc要成立以两个学生命名的奖学金
，以延续他们的梦想。悬赏金额提高到了￥200000，希望能尽快抓到凶手！另外学校从
今晚也开始有donation，双方家庭好像都并不富裕，筹募到的捐款将全数交给双方的父
母。

Right now, there are more max slots than players. Given the lack of quality
centers, Yao Ming should be able to get a max contract, even with concerns
about his health (he can probably work out for other teams to alleviate
their concerns). At least, he could use this as leverage to force the
Rockets (even if he wants to stay) to give him a longer contract.
