唯一合理的解释，就是这个字是外来词的译音。就像“米”，作为长度单位Metre的译
音而成为长度单位，但是本意和构字本来都和长度单位毫无关系。这样的例子太多了，
基本上作为外来词译音的中文字，尤其是技术名词，全都有这个特征。
但是“券”字的发音从何而来呢？英语的拱形是Arch,所谓的拱桥就是Arch Bridge。随
便找一个在线的字典，Google Translate就行，无论是英语的“Arch”还是汉语的“拱
形”，查到对应的土耳其语都是Kemer，在线听一下土耳其语发音，你会很惊讶的发现
，发音居然是类似“券麦特”，尤其是第一个音，几乎就是汉语的“券”。所有的疑问
一下得到了解释。
