order date. Must have nookitis. I chose the Kindle-DX mainly because of the
screen size, native PDF support, and I was accustomed to the Kindle user
interface with my Kindle 1st generation. Plus the KDX is already available

LD: J1 visa, 2011年初入美，博后，美方付工资。
本人：J2 visa，2011年底入美，2012年4月中旬在一个公立大学找到了个full-
time的Research Assistant的位置，凭EAD工作。W-2显示的2012收入是2.1W。除了W-2
以外，还收到了银行邮来的1099-ITN form，显示开户之后，银行给了我125美金。我们
没有小孩。
求助问题：
1. 我和LD分开报税，那对我来讲，是选择1040NR，还是1040NR-EZ？貌似不符合“EZ”
的要求，还有那个Dependent指的是配偶啊，还是父母子女啊？

Pjiang mentioned that once the 485 is filed, only H/L visa holders do not
have to stay in US, but he didn't mention that the person has to be in US
while 485 is filed. |

fluently.
As to this award in China, was it at college level or national level?
Student award is not good to be mentioned. National level award can be used,
if you can show that it's prestigious.
Your M.S. papers can be mentioned and their citations count, too, unless you
have too many Ph.D. papers and citations that you don't want to bother to

not all of them should be mentioned in the PL. If there's anything
significant, you surely can mention; otherwise, just keep quiet. The
principle is to present everything that is significant and downplay (not to
mention, but not to change) the evidences that are not so helpful for your
case.

1. Conference proceedings count, some are better than journals. Have you
got all those paper acceptance emails? They often include the acceptance
rate. If it's below 30%, you can highlight them. There's an article in
ACM talking about the fact that these conferences are better than many
journals.
2. Even fresh Ph.D. can apply for EB1. Outstanding research experience
