I think closers are paid for this mental ability as well as pitching
ability. and pitching is secondary. that is why they get paid so

years of closing experience at such a young age.
madson presents a minimal risk. I agree with you. His skillset

he was the second best reliever in the last five or six years

trusting his mentality even if he had 1 or 2 good years in reasume. |

亚利桑那建队晚资金少市场小，投巨资买下两个ace以后剩下的钱就不多了。救援投手
多是无名之辈，整个赛季的亮点是关门人韩国外援金炳贤Kim Byung-Hyun （ERA2.94，
WHIP1.041，19 save)。金同学的投球姿势比较奇怪，但是同样姿势的投手还是挺多的
，都是一个流派的？比方说现在marlins的steve cishek。怎么说呢，就是下蹲式投球
，一个从下向上飘的slider。这对于习惯从上向下走的球路的打手们来说很不习惯。一
是容易误判好坏球，二是打不着，因为这个球路太诡异了，所以经常是摇摇头被三振出
局。坏处就是一旦发生contact，经常是火星撞地球，发生剧烈的碰撞。
金同学好像是第一次上场把，好像前面三场都没他什么事？第八局他一如赛季表现勇猛
，连K三人。第九局一开始虽然放了一个人上垒，但是也搞掉了两人，New York down
to their last out.这时候对阵的是洋基的大棒Tino Martinez。在那个嗑药横行的年
代，Tino的成绩虽然不是突出的，每个赛季也能稳定敲下3，4十个HR，是洋基队的中流

ERA 2.98/whip 1.075)和Randy Johnson (ERA 2.49/WHIP 1.009).这就相当于你的队里
有Verlander和Kershaw两个ace级人物，而且响尾蛇队准备把他们操到爆。Schilling负
责1，4，7场，Johnson负责2，6场。这就意味着洋基要夺冠必须从这两个ace里拿下两
场，另外两场也要赢才行。而后来情况证明，这两位ace比想象得还耐操。Randy
Johnson不光先发了2，6，而且先发后第二天就救援了最后的第七场。
