发帖数: 22 | 2 今年Braves的比赛, 除了第一场下午比的没看,
其他都看了, 现在11-11 比去年同时期好点
考虑Sheffield, Maddux,Marquis的伤病,
两场从AA调来投手,现在先发已经用了8个.
其中三场,MOSS, 忘了名字, 韩国人都是MLB处女投
这个结果算凑合吧,只是过程不让人满意.
棒子嘛, 从来就是这样, 也不指望他们能
能有惊人之作.
Andrew最近还不错, Chipper也渐有起色,
只是Javy Loppez,和Franco实在不在状态
尤其是Franco,去年结束前多牛啊,
现在就会DP,帮敌人的忙.现在一看他
蹶着屁股挥棒的样子,我就烦.真不明白
Cox上几场还把他放在Chipper后面,
结果对Marlins那场, 搞了两个DP.
昨天对DBacks,如果还是他, 肯定又没戏了.
现在最大的问题还是防守,
Braves的经典就是考投手和防守控制敌人得个2,3分
然后靠Chipper, Andrew, Brian,Homer,搞个3,4分.
现在 picther还行了,
牛棚也不错,除了被Mets第九局打暴那场,
问题是防守不行.

but NL east doesn't lack strong teams, 96 Expos, 97 Marlins
98-00 Mets are all very good teams
maybe these two years NL east is a little bit weak, but not true before
that. |

9IP, 2Hit, 1BB, 11K, 115Pitch Complete Game Shutout
开始看他狂飙快球我还有点替他担心，不过他的control确实没得说，
fastball, breaking ball, changeup,。。。看得我目瞪口呆
Zambrano其实也不错了，可惜面对Lowell犯了个错误，另外这个人有点
过于情绪化了。
这个系列打到现在，Cubs的打线算是超常发挥了，另外他们的运气也好一点，
不过Marlins很有韧性，如果他们的先发投手能挺住，大翻盘也不是没有可能。
当然Cubs的机会大的多，Prior加Wood，就是有一个被打爆（可能性<50%),还
有另一个呢，而且他们似乎很善于在Wrighly Field打往家跑。
期待明天的比赛。。。 |

今年第一轮对Braves, 由于种种原因, 没看到第二场和第四场, 所以没有太大的失败的痛
苦. 和Marlins roller coaster一样的比赛, 让我体会到了当扇子的痛苦和欢乐.
就象: ALDS第五场Okland vs. Red Sox, 九局下半, 一球落后, 两人出局, 二,三垒有人,
Lowe最后一球投出... 东西两岸, 是怎样的狂欢与失望的眼泪呢?

发帖数: 76 | 6 fish的SP比Redsox要强，问题在于Sox是清一色的右投，Pedro
最头大的也是Yankees的几个L/S。而fish有两个很好的左投先
发。Redman和Willis能拿下Yankees两场的话，fish胜面就非
常大。
fish的打线肯定没有Sox厉害，而且从pudge开始，后面都是右
打，Yankees的SP压制Sox的右打压制的非常好，但Sox的一堆
L/S打得Yankees很不舒服，Yankees里面唯一能克制L/S的SP
就是boomer。所以fish的头两棒特别重要。不过fish不是象Sox
那么依靠HR得分的，靠的是耐心和速度。Yankees里面也没有
可以和Prior/Wood相比的投手。
支持fish吃掉yankees。 |

发帖数: 1854 | 7 今天的情形和ALDS非常相似，都是对下狗，但是确实最近非常HOT的颇具实力的下狗。
感觉今天Wells一开始就被那个bunt搞得很frustrated。两个(好象是两个吧？)walk对于
他来说是有点失常的，而且好象这两个walk都得分了。
和Twins一样，Marlins也是一只速度非常快的球队，yankees对付这样的球队向来不是很
有办法。
和ALDS第一场一样，Yankees都是hit不少但是runners on SP的时候却没有几个。
防守有失误，上次是Bernie，这次是Boone.
更有趣的是，也许又是Andy明天在次把Yankees从0：1的坑里挖出来？和和
Joe之所以是个好教练，就在于他能对症下药，及时调整。但愿他能够尽快找到办法。 |

2。Mussina和Giambi终于证实了他们是gamer。秧鸡扇子可以忘记David Cone
和Tino Martinez了。
3。Pedro自从肩膀伤后，已经变成了100-pitch pitcher。
4。Yankees整体上实力强一些，获胜也是情理之中。不过Redsox输掉还是非常
可惜的。Grady Little bet against conventional wisdom，愿赌服输，现在
被骂也怪不了别人。
5。Super Mario still the best reliever in the game。
6。Matsui是新的Paul O'neil。
7。希望Marlins能够创造奇迹，打败秧鸡。 |

being let go from Rangers. Even Marlins' young pitchers didn't quite
accept him at firt. Just as people thought his chance was gone after
losing to Yanks 3 times in postseason as a Ranger, he paid his due and
finally earned this elusive ring after 10+ years of career. Nice. |

D'Bax were lucky. They hit more long balls than yankees. Everyone knows
yankees struggled greatly in that series. but they still hit some
unforgettable homers. Also, do you realize Marlins hit more homers than
yankees this postseason? In world serie they depend on small ball because
their long ball player(lowell, lee) struggled.
To say the difference between NL and AL, I think the difference is not that

Actually I was confident with Marlins ever since they beat Phillies for
the NL wildcard. This team has this huge momentum and is so fit for playoff
baseball. So I thought they get a shot.

of free agent, even Yankees will find a hard time to buy a championship.
Surely several years Marlins pawn a championship, but that kind of success is
very fortunate and not gonna persist.
Yankees may be able to buy whatever players they want to. Does that mean the
small market teams can't win? Not necessarily.
In nowaday's baseball, the way to win a championship is to raise ur own young
players. They are much cheaper, |

Matthews, this year Torii Hunter. How many CFs could a team have? And they
probably still have nobody to protect Vlad.
The same thing goes to Dodgers. Juan Pierre is a terrible signing. His OBP
is too low as leadoff and can't hit 2nd. Let's see how Torre can turn things
around. :) |
