起以上的滥射事件。虽然多数的犯案者疑似有心理疾病等征兆，大部份的犯案枪支皆为
合法取得。
以下回顾1984年以来，加州部分的滥射事件：
1984.7.18 圣地牙哥麦当劳
41岁的修伯特(James Huberty)在住处附近的麦当劳进行扫射，造成22人死亡，19人受
伤，修伯特在犯案现场遭到警方射杀。修伯特在事发前，曾以电话向心理健康诊所预约
诊疗时间，然而该诊所未能及时回电。修伯特犯案用的半自动枪械皆为合法取得。
1988.2.16 桑尼维尔ESL公司
39岁的法雷(Richard Farley)在前公司ESL进行扫射，造成七人死亡，以及四人受伤。
法雷在犯案前曾跟踪与骚扰一名女同事，法雷在法院上声称犯案只是为了获得该名女性
同事的注意。法雷于1992年遭判死刑。

种场景，只是近期接连有两位华裔美军士兵，在阿富汗不堪虐辱举枪自尽的事件浮出水
面，使美军的内部凌辱行为一时成为新闻话题，受到公众，特别是华人的关注。军方迫
于舆论压力，通过军事法庭玩高高举起，轻轻放下的惯用把戏，把这两起美军士兵受凌
辱致死案，大事化小，小事化无。
廖梓源(Harry Lew)是加州居民，19岁参军，2010年11月派赴阿富汗。2011年4月2日，
他被发现站岗时打瞌睡，当晚约翰斯中士带领两个一等兵，对廖梓源拳打脚踢三个多小
时，极尽人身侮辱，命令他扛着一袋沙在兵营里转圈子，还将沙子倒在他脸上，塞进他
嘴里。凌辱停止后20分钟，廖梓源用自动步枪结束了21岁的年轻生命。自杀时，他是一
