the numbers in all buckets, and pass the result to a master machine,

可惜比赛才刚刚开始,之后明显证明了osu的教练还是很会控制比赛的.
由于第一个td osu让对方传球传得太爽,明显觉得之后osu对于这个防守都做得很好,
这可以证明osu的教练还是不错的.要不是osu犯规太多,machin的pass是绝对不够osu的.
还有troy smith还是有出错误的时候,但是他自己的几个rush都很漂亮.
最后就是osu今天自己的失误也很多,毕竟machin也不是吃干饭的.
这都是看电视的小小观后感.呵呵 |

could replace the ball machine but nothing could replace the stringing
machine :)
Let's say $8 per string and $10 labor
- non-DIY 12 times per year: 12 * (8+10) = $216
- DIY: 24 times per year: 24 * 8 = $192
For money-saving wise, it doesn't save a lot. Especially you have to break
even first. But for the flexibility, it is priceless! |

weights over machines. Because the fixed track of these machines, your
movement will not be so natural. Most important, the machine will mask the
defect in your form, which you will certainly find out if u do free weights.
BTW, free squat has a totally different movement track from smith machine. |

相同的活动硬盘，在没有使用Time Machine之前，格式一般是FAT32，这个格式PC和Mac
都能访问。使用了Time machine后就变成了HFS+了。
你现在还能不能往time machine的硬盘里用PC往里写东西？ |

个日期的备份文件夹都有这个文件的完全拷贝。
这是因为Time Machine 不是增量备份？
还是说Time Machine是增量备份，但是只是在Finder中显示出来了增量后的尺寸。我记
得有人试过在Linux下能直接拷贝这些文件，那说明确实不是增量备份。
如果不是增量备份，那就是本科生课程设计的水平啊（如果不考虑图形界面）。。。（

还有就是怎么把一些现实情况转化成可计算的data
也就是representation的问题，

不同的machine，汇编语言都有相似性，如果都是RISC或者都是CISC，从这个角度上来
看，可以移植，比如相加都是ADD，存放数据到寄存器都是MOV。
但是，assembly对machine的寄存器的操作，还有中断的操作，machine与machine之间
就不同了，
同样是51系列，8051的和8051F020，差别就大得去了，前者ROM RAM都很小，后者RAM大
多了，同时
加入在线flash，前者只有5个中断，后者22个中断，中断的地址，控制中断的寄存器都
不同。两个程序
根本无法相互移植。当然懂一个，再看另外一个不难。虽然两个都是用CISC |

小弟看了点 Machine Learning 入门的书， 但感觉 主要应用和成功案例 还是集中在
Internet Big Data or Medical Image Processing, for examples, detect spam
email or cancer.
网上搜到的例子除了 Portfolio Management or High Freq Trading （这两个对小弟
来说， 都太高大上， 用不了）， 要不就是些Academic写的没什么实际用处的paper了
.
想问问前辈们， Machine Learning 在 Sell-Side Trading 里到底有没有实质的应用?
都用那些Algo？ 请指点个具体的Example, 让小弟也感受一下Machine Learning的力
量。

If you want a bread maker that makes a standard shaped loaf (not that odd
square thing with the rounded end like most cheap bread makers) this is one
of the very few that can do it.
This is a *great* machine, the ONLY machine that King Arthur Flour
recommends! They say this machine kneads dough better than any machine on
the market. They use them in their own test kitchen. Can't get a better
recommendation than that.

基本在espresso machine里面都是最便宜的级别了.
网上查了一下，说其实Grinder的作用比Espresso机器更重要，如果100块钱，
最好50块以上投资到Grinder上面. 我开始还有点不太相信. 测了一下这台
Mr. Coffee的Grinder和前几天买的Consumer Report推荐的Capresso
Infinity Conical Burr Grinder, 发现的确区别很大.
图1，两台都设置成最细档，Mr.Coffee机器只能磨到比ground coffee
更细一点的级别，而且大小不均匀. 右边的是Capresso Infinity磨的，基本
根面粉差不多了. 而且这个磨的太细了，以至于后来把咖啡机堵住了, 其实用到
fine档，基本就可以了.

大多数的machine learning，其复杂度都是不能在mapreduce的框架里跑的。
要做data scientist，cs方面需要的data management的背景，而统计需要的是一些比
较实际的common sense,比如提出某种有用的metric(feature extraction)。正真的分
类算法，很多时候logistic regression就够了。
除非你是申请research lab,不然Machine learning最多只是算锦上添花的，而不是主
要考察的能力。
对于面试来说，知道下面这些是最基本的：
在mapreduce的框架下，count(), sample(), unique(),quantile()如何实现;数据库
join操作是怎么实现的。 |

签了NDA, 具体的题目我就不透露了，而且这类题目透露了也没用，不是想coding的题
目刷下一下就顶事的。
你可以好好复习一下machine learning的具体知识和你以前使用过machine learning的
经历，想想自己在解决问题的过程中做了怎样的取舍。
system design如果没有hands on 经验就多去看看牛比工程师门的博客，还有例如
dong fei大牛的文章。然后FB给你的那几个pdf里的例题好好想一想。
但是不论什么情况下，ML都是要和system design结合在一起的。就是因为有了系统上
的各种限制，设计ML部分的时候才有的说。 |
