This is a common problem when the distributor cap is cracked. It doesn't
matter if you have the electronic ignition or the old points and breaker
type. Spray some WD-40 into the dome and on the base of the distributor. WD-
40 is a water dispersant, not a lubricant. Count on replacing your
distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires in the near future. |

Two screw are red circled. that's it.
Don't forget to use coolent to lubricate the thermostat rings; You may need
to refill coolent a bit, but no that much, it's not necessary to reflush
your coolent system just for thermostat job.

我记得有人以前说过，最好的，好象是没有必要在原地idle热车，但是开动后不要开快

1. 4档变速，加速换档时顿挫感比较明显，不知道11版是否改为5级（估计不会吧）
2. 由于ball joint是号称lifetime lubricated，所以前面悬挂的upper/lower ball
joint容易出问题，我的01 GMQ/65K两个lower都换过了，upper的有一边也没有grease
了。当然凡是号称lifetime的都有这毛病。换起来有点费劲，都是力气活；每个BJ，车
铺应该会收1小时人工。
3. 后驱，雪天吃亏。当然也有些人喜欢后驱。
补充优点：
这个发动机应该是比较耐操的，V8发动机转速低，能开的里程数会比较高 |

1）将车子撑起来
2）拿掉一个后轮
3）螺丝刀，去锈的喷剂，还有lubricant
个人觉得，车子自带的换轮子工具不太保险，想自己买一对jack stand等东西
有没有这方面的DIY专家推荐一下，第一次搞，没有经验。还有什么需要注意的也说说
？如果是太危险的话，我也就放弃了。 |

，冬天温度低，空气厚重，阻力大！不要小瞧了这个空气阻力的差别，可以注意一下，
北方的机场，在同等条件下的跑道比南方的要短！就是因为空气重，阻力大。
所以夏天适合自驾游，冬天为了省钱，寒假出去就做飞机吧！！！

另外做alignment, chassis lubrication之类的肯定都是标准的，基本是按工时收的，
没有什么区别。
至于豪华品牌之间保养谁比谁便宜都是扯淡，如果因为几年下来保养便宜一两百刀而选
择这个品牌，那还是不要买豪华车了，请出门左转买二手耐操车。 |

2)装饰材料
glass,weatherstrips, lenses, light bulbs, trim, moldings, bright metal,
upholstery, paint
3)排气系统
exhaust system, catalytic converter
4)其他服务
engine tune-up, suspension alignment, wheel balancing, squeaks and rattles,
rust damage
以上都不保。
不过8年100K 0 deductible，如果不保的只有上面这些，价格还算可以吧。 |

自己换的话，pads的价格在AAP after coupon可能在30每对，前或者后。
但是自己换的话，你还需要购置/租借：
1）Breaker bar
2）10mm（brake line bolt），12mm（caliper bolt），14mm，19mm（lug nut）
socket
3）brake quiet grease，lubricate grease
4）brake cleaner，few bottles
5）jack stand，at least 1 |

I recently had the same problem on my 2005 Mazda 3i. I found the shifter
linkage connected to the transmission range switch which was bolted on the
transmission. The linkage was very rusty. applied WD40 first and I used an
oil lubricant and the Park light indicator started to work again and I was
able to start the car in Park again. |

拿起千斤顶换备胎，发现生锈的很厉害，用脚踹用锤子敲也下不来，最后叫了AAA road
service，丫跑到garage 拿了个长柄斧头一斧头下去轮子就掉了。
后来上网查，如果没有可靠的千斤顶大家最好先来电WD40 lubricant 然后松了螺丝来
回开轮子自己就掉了。 |

speeds higher than a certain limit (e.g. 3000 or 4000 RPM), is difficult
since it requires avoiding triggering the kick-down-switch. Avoiding
triggering the kick-down-switch requires a good feel of the throttle pedal,
but use of full throttle can still be achieved with a little sensitivity as
the kick-down button is only activated beyond the normal full opening of the
accelerator pedal.

新车需要7500mile/6month做一次换油/FILTER， 我估计一年好像最多换3次油，这样下
来也就是一次$40左右。 好像一般换油也就是这个价钱吧。
另外，新车的WARRANTY不会因为我不去DEALER做保养(比如我定期去其他地方做保养）

这两工作环境不同, 对油品的要求也不同. 我换油的时候, trans fluid和transfer
case fluid都是Nissan Matic D ATF.
Font Diff我用的是 Mobil1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90. 更冷的地方可以用
80W-90.
因为是part time四驱. Front Diff 大部分时候都是歇着. 全时四驱可能是不同的工作
环境. |

Those are for model year 2007 - 2009 and the recall was made in 2012. And it
's because of grease (or lubricant) is not applied equally on the driver
side power window! What a silly (stupid) mistake! Where those cars were

Metals expand when they are heated, but contract when they get cooled.
there is a problem with joint control arm. you need do some lubrication to
the joint where the noise come from. Go and ask the technician, they will
know about it, will take $60 around. |

service). Every dealer is a little different, but when I had the 30k service
done on my Pilot (4WD, rear differential fluid was changed, so a little
more expensive), it cost me about $500. I believe I had the ATF changed,
according to Honda schedule, it should be changed every 30k miles. This long
list does NOT included ATF though, but my $500 did. Most of the things on
