Adorama [adorama.com] also has it for $495.
Long story short, it's a digital cinema camera that is about the size of a
point and shoot. Doesn't have a huge sensor (Super16 sized) but it has lots
of dynamic range. $500 off until August 31st. Not sure if it's an End of
Life clearance thing or what, but it's basically a BOGO.

有一个细节，810的时候，那个sraw的文件，跟那个12BIT compressed的差不多大。那
当然意义就不大了。
850上，sRaw, mRaw文件小很多。说明实现的算法有区别，而且能够实质上省很多空间。
期待更多评测。如果sRaw能保留足够的dr，那850不光是风光打鸟全能，连到此一游都
包了。简直就是，一机在手，江山我有啊！ |

compressed差不多（确实脑残设计，可能是当时cpu处理能力不够。）
850的是12-bit Lossless compressed。 |

音乐原始就wav；
CD一般就44100Hz采样，16bit位深格式的wav；
为了减少体积，就得压缩；
mp3这些算法都有损，压缩以后的音质不如原始wav；
flac或者ape都是无损算法，压完回放和wav一样。 |

difference. Last time I encoded Faye Wang's Wings of Light using VBR
with lowest bit rate 256k, but it still sounds very glassy.
About MD, I don't have much experience(too poor, borrow from my friend
:(). But according to some reviews from web, there is no loss of
sound quality for MD---it gets rid of redundant information from CD and
applies lossless encoding tech. I don't know.
Could you explain details?

ape和mp3的差别，只在于技术上，技术能否表现出来，表现到什么程度，这个就是问题
的关键。
aple lossless和itunes plus我初步对比过，感觉还是有损的好听。原因不详，当然我
老是不会特意花时间做什么对比的。
ipad出来，我会用我3个档次的几个塞子做一个小小的对比。

Even your computer setup cannot really justify ALAC. Especially it's a gamer
sound card. At least go for real HiFi
DACs/Amp.
Most portable media players cannot justify lossless without amp. |

2. you don't understand the ease to manage thousands of songs with little
effort.
3. please do ABX blind test using your ear and your rig to see whether you
can tell the difference between lossless and high bit rate MP3 and AAC?
without blind testing you assertion is meaningless.
if you have to focus very hard to tell the difference, assuming you can, you
blew it.
how about in a less quiet environment?

而且最新的iTunes压缩的AAC甚至超过以前Nero AAC的效果，所以值得测一下玩玩。
你把你wav压缩一下压成ape或者flac或者其它lossless发给我吧
可以用mediafire,rapidshare之类的。 |

单从声音和做工上来说, MD机和磁带机都在ixxx之上. 不光是外壳, 就运放电路部分可
以把iXXX秒几条街都不止.
扛CD机出门? 声音好的随身CD不防震, 一卡一卡的出门听还不如磁带机呢. 防震的CD机
还不如拿ixxx听lossless. |
