标 题: offer 选择请教：著名trading firm的library quant v.s.非著名trading firm的trading role

今年3月申请了两个hedge fund/prop trading firms，居然都拿到了offer，两个各有
利弊，希望大家帮忙选一下．每一个建设性的回复我都发包子感谢。
一个是我一直很想去的著名trading shop，刚刚拿到，但所有人进去必须从非trading
role做起，今后是否能挤到trading role还未知。 据面试的人说，做的事情大概相当
于投行里的library quant的位置。这个公司福利什么的非常好，据说工作环境也比较
轻松。
另一个是一个不那么出名的不大的prop trading firm, 但给的职位直接做quant

如果你们library的rule只是说不准吃东西而已，那肯定是不够的。因为食物都有味道
，即使人类闻不到，虫子什么的也能闻到。食物的味道会招虫子，然后有一部分虫子会
啃年代久远的书。我曾经在library的preservation department打工，所以知道食物会
老书带来很多危害。。。 |

会不多。
昨天一位老妇人替自己的儿子给4S Library捐了一千美金，她说自己的儿子在这个
community长大，从南加大毕业后现在是internal medicine的医生。这是他儿子连续第
二年给我们的图书馆捐钱，回馈这个在他年少时给与他支持的社区。

对于东边的老人来说，这个地方稍微有些远。主要是我们每个月只能在同一图书馆里活
动一次。周围的图书馆都已经早就被借用了。
所以请有意参加这次活动的老人的家属跟贴确认。如果没有人参加的话，我们会取消这次活动。由于和其它活动的冲突，我们西漂的会员到时候不能到会，请家属们帮着组织一下活动，并请最后走的老人的家属孩子们把桌子和椅子搬回去，把地上整理干净。
欢迎参加完探亲老人聚会的老人和孩子们一起参加我们在鲤鱼门组织的二零一一年版聚，我们在和餐馆联系看能不能给老人和孩子们一个折扣。。如果老人多的话，我们在十桌里会专门给老人们安排一到两桌。

逛了一圈，发现有好些中文录像带和VCD，而且不算旧
有《大宅门》《激情燃烧的岁月》《蓝色生死恋》（我想应该是中文字幕）
《桔子红了》《雍正王朝》《天下粮仓》
还有好些，记不起来了。
图书证可借7天，每次最多4张碟/带，超过一天每碟罚两刀。
大家快去办卡。
btw，不住berkeley的不知道行不行。自己去查查。

准备写个小的工具，可以将扫描的书的黑边除掉，适合kindle或者pda看。由于margin
大小不一，很难直接用简单的crop工具。我看了一下，可用利用扫描图像的一些特征除
边。
有没有好的library推荐一下。

但是在手机上找不到，在itunes里也找不到。
网上找的“删除方法”都是通过所谓sync的方式，一下子删除整个photo library，我
不甘心，至少要先看看里面有啥吧，至少要能选择删什么留什么吧。
没错是windows用惯了，难以适应苹果的思路。

I got problem when trying to load gsl library:
dyn.load("/usr/local/lib/libgsl.so")
Error in dyn.load("/usr/local/lib/libgsl.so") :
unable to load shared object '/usr/local/lib/libgsl.so':
/usr/local/lib/libgsl.so: undefined symbol: cblas_ctrmv
I know what the msg means, but how to fix it? |

we build c++ code in ubuntu in intel pc, the target runs in arm board.
we can step into the source code for exe, but not for shared library.
say
/aaa is the source code folder for exe, /aaa/1.cpp is the source for 1.exe
/bbb is the folder in target you have /bbb/1.exe
/ccc is the source code folder for shared library, /ccc/2.cpp is the source
for 2.so
