还都挺好，我都写了感谢信。 但是就是没有回有音。 我的学校不是太好，我是学MBA
的，但是focus上会计。 我选这个学校就是因为轻松些，有时间考cpa. 我比较想找工
业界的职位，但是都要工作经验，我在美国有两个月的实习经验，但是我有10年多的会
计和审计经验在中国，包扩两年在香港。 我只有两次面试机会，一次是
tempraryaccount and 一次是一个中国公司。 其他中介都告诉我没有工作经验没有机
会。tempraryaccount说帮我找机会。
我现在觉得投entry level 可能cpa overquialified. 但是不投entry level 的我又没
有美国工作经验。
我实在不知道投什么level 的比较好？

发帖数: 509 | 4 jobfair上收的简历很多，很难说对方是否愿意给你进一步的面试机会，别光等回音。
如果你当时有搜集名片的话，可以进一步跟每一家公司联系，说很希望能有in office
interview的机会，看看对方怎么说，即使拒绝问问为什么拒绝也好。你再翻翻以前的
旧帖，有些介绍海投的经验的，而且你有身份，相对来说应该更容易一些。但是一般
firm招人，还是愿意找年轻刚毕业的，觉得train一下就可以用，年轻更任劳任怨，体
力好，加班加点儿都不是问题。
你在中国和香港的工作经验在美国不一定有用，看你怎么在resume上present了。想问
一下你在中国的审计经验是4大的么？企业的经验呢？具体做哪一块儿？其实你的
background更适合在企业找工作，虽然企业很多时候都是要找有经验的，但是时不时也
有entry-level的工作。要适当得根据不同的position去针对性地修改你的简历，使你
中国的工作经验给你加分而不是显得over qualify。中介一般不太有entry level的工
作机会，你要自己经常上网查看，indeed和monster.com都可以, 多投简历！

发帖数: 122 | 6 有卡，考了CPA，还没申请license，在家带娃有好几年的gap，最近也在找工作，各种
灰心。几个月前申请了一个entry level的工作，人家质疑我有CPA为什么会愿意干工资
那么低的工作。。。
我几年前有大概两年的staff accountant的工作经验，然后昨天猎头告诉我，像我这样
的情况，得再次从entry level开始，并且拿entry level的工资。他建议的工资range
比我上个工作结束时的工资还低。我现在在犹豫简历上是不是应该不再写通过CPA考试
了。我在中西部大农村，大城市可能情况不一样。
不可否认的是，似乎大家对CPA的认可度还是挺高的。我目前在做volunteer，告诉人家
我通过了CPA，人就是WOW的那种感觉。但是对找工作似乎没什么实际帮助，就像大家说
的，只是锦上添花，没法雪中送碳。仅供参考。 |

发帖数: 14 | 7 为什么我做了这么多年corporate accounting，还要转public，有以下几个原因：
1. 我觉得有public经验，即使只有2，3年，对以后的职业发展大有好处。比较大的公
司，即使是非审计相关职位，也经常要求几年public 经验。有public经验在公司做升
职也较快，否则就是一堆人里慢慢熬年头了。市面上的会计太多太多了，中国人本身语
言也不如老外，在和同事领导拉关系方面也竞争不过他们，所以只有慢慢熬，等比你
senior的人都升上去了或者走了，运气好的话，才能轮到你。所以如果现在做entry
level的审计，要比现在收入少不少，我还是愿意的。
2. 之前更加在意身份的问题，在private更容易搞定身份。当然毕业的时候自身水平不
过硬，也没能挤进四大呵呵。
3. 公司外部审计的时候，看到那些associate，真是不太懂，我觉得如果是我，能做的
比他们好很多，所以觉得现在有几年经验了，想试试看有没有机会。
大家的建议我都认真看了，谢谢大家！
我已经读过accounting的master了，firm里的熟人也找过一些，但是反馈都是entry

CFA LEVEL 1的数学非常简单，P的程度都不到。它难在很多新概念，对于理工科的wsn
来说算一个挑战。而且个人感觉很多东西数学逻辑性很差，都是经验公式，对于理工科
男来说记忆理解都是问题。
虽然LEVEL 1的manual只有1000页，个人感觉读起来比MLC,C的1000页痛苦，要记的东西
太多。不过考试是3选1，蒙的几率很大。一般都是50%的几率。
另外，LEVEL 1考了对找工作帮助很小。 |

没法再多考了吧？人还是entry level做了两年多公司才给升的manager。。。这速度已
经是神速了。。。所以你一点经验也没有就想考考试找manager的工作。。那是不可能
的。。。
如果你是说能不能直接找senior analyst这种。。有的公司senior analyst一定有经验
要求。。。有的公司senior不过就是个title，考试到了就有，工作还是entry level。
所以说到底。。你有几个考试没关系，没有经验还是得找entry level。 |

在国内211读的本科，四年前来的美国一所排名200的大学念数学博士，现在快毕业了。
其实一直有在规划自己的职业道路。想毕业后从事精算的工作，所以考了P, FM, MFE,
MLC和C这五门基本考试。现在开始准备CFA，打算用level 1&2来充当VEE课程。这样的
话，到明年六月，就很接近ASA了。
本来以为考了这么多试，找个实习不成问题吧？结果今年暑假投了60多份简历，却石沉
大海。虽然我知道周围有人投了200+的简历才找到工作，可是投了60多封，却一点消息
也没有，难免让人沮丧。何况我并不要求高薪，只是想找entry level积累经验。因为
没有身份，所以就想着脚踏实地慢慢来，工资低一点也不要紧。但是现在却这副样子不
免让人沮丧。
求过来人指点，如何找entry level的精算工作或者实习？学校在northeast的一个大农
村，没有大公司也无法建立network。 |

entry-level, 在有的公司却是phd 的起始level 。在有的公司principal scientist
才是fresh phd的起始level |

I treated groups of transgenic mice with a few chemicals for inhibiting
cancer but noticed one chemical may reduce the activity of insulin. A
direct consequence should be higher blood glucose level/increased insulin.
But the experiment has been completed and there is not much chance to
convince my boss to repeat an experiment for measure blood glucose level. I
am not in the metabolism field but found that most works in the

What I am doing now is using Power Compiler to analyze the gate-level power
with the .SAIF file (converted from gate-level .VCD file) and the netlist. I
never use SDF file. Is this enough to estimate the gate-level power? Must
there be a SDF file?

发帖数: 21 | 27 首先是药厂，刚毕业一般都是在CRO做SAS programmer（因为药厂进不去），熬到绿卡
后就考虑进药厂，或者拿高薪做contractor（一般是夫妻档，一个employee管保险，一
个contractor挣cash）。假设进药厂，依旧是走programmer的路线，据我所知MASTER是
做不了statistician的（如果有这种情况，请告知），然后是senior programmer，最
后极少数混得好的混成director。药厂数据分析的高层几乎都是中国人，感觉上会比高
层全是印度人的IT也更好提升。
然后是保险业，分析各种claim的数据或者公司economic prediction，和上面的SAS
programmer比起来更偏向于“analysis”而不是“coding“。因为没有FDA的限制，所
以分析软件也不仅限于SAS，基本上是SAS，SQL，PYTHON，R etc.你擅长哪个用哪个。
然后就是IT业，data scientist。我的理解是一个会点code的统计师。自己没做过，也

level, but now their international level standard has changed, which may be

这几天开始提示low eng oil level.
请问我能否买点eng oil加点进去？eng oil的牌子有关系吗？
下次change eng oil，是不是可以自己买，加了之后剩下的一点暂时留着，low level
之后再自己补充点？
BTW，我估计是烧机油啊。一直有engine check灯亮。 |

发帖数: 485 | 48 今天打开hood发现coolant level 低于low maker一英寸了。 大概coolant container里面还
有2～3cm的coolant剩下，radiator cap里面的coolant倒是还有。现在有几个疑问：
(1). 这车还能开去加coolant吗？
(2). 我现在的coolant是褐色的，我不知道前车主加的什么牌子。我能加绿色的
coolant吗？
(3). 我是否应该送去mechanic那检查有没有漏coolant？BTW, 这车买的时候快10年旧
了。我从前车主那买了来开了半年，其间我大概开了6000迈，从没发现温度表异常。但
这是我半年来第一次查coolant level, 之前都没注意。

去拉上来 ，每次两点以上一长段dip也都带油（level不可能那么高），擦干净dip再来
还是这样，到底怎么才能争取读取level。（这汽车工业也是够烂的，这么个简单的玩
意不能做的更方便点吗）
我这个dip是上下一般粗的那种（只有2点那里twist了一点），不是下面头比较大的那
种。 |

去了，被告知，要做每10K做一次的小保养，要价200刀。问了一下做的内容
Replace engine oil and oil filter
Rotate tires
Inspect and adjust all fluid levels
Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
轮胎是在AmericanTire换的，给免费rotate和检查刹车。问题这个Inspect and adjust
all fluid levels，到底dealer做了啥？以前换油，每次都已经给加了玻璃水呀 |
