4. 花10刀到 官网买的警察 事故报告 证明对方fault
然后就等 支票吧.

给property manager给拒收了，另外一个给the owner of Genesee Terraces LLC好像
收下了。

基本条件：土博，08年3月来美做J1 postdoc，10年5月豁免，11年3月换的H1，今年1月
换的title，SCI文章20篇（一作8篇，二作7篇），引用>280, 审稿攒了12次，7封推荐
信（5个独立推荐人），2封编辑推荐信，petition leter 10页。
自己的体会：
准备I140用了4个月，主要是收集独立推荐信。独立推荐人最好引用自己文章，这样的
推荐信好写。
关键是学校的推荐信给力，dean任长篇大论5页，boss也是5页，全是他们自己写的！非
常感激他们！
个人认为petition letter不用十分华丽的语言，只要摆事实就可以了。主要是抄引用
你的文章中对你文章的评价和引用。
编辑的推荐信一定要有。
尽早准备体检和出生公证，尤其是女生，那些乱七八糟的疫苗要避开怀孕和生理期。

列出的材料都准备好就行了。我是visit visa，事先让瑞士那边接待的人把invitation
leter传真到芝加哥领事馆，而且我准备在瑞士转转，领事馆的人说只需要申请一个
visit visa就可以了，不需要tourism visa。不能当场拿签证，需要2-3 business day。
另外有个问题，我的美国签证（一年多次）5.17到期，我申请5.7-14号的签证，领事馆
的人说他们的签证没问题，但我回美国的时候可能有问题。请教一下大家，如果我5.14
号回美国的话，而我的签证5.17号过期，会不会有问题？
