走在杳无人烟的Ledge Trail上，无论是入口的巨石，
抑或路旁青苔遍布的小树，都感到宁静。
山路十八盘，突然间，熟悉的Mt Si映入眼帘。
天空不时飘过小雨，一缕久违的阳光撒在天地之间。
此情此景，比起享誉欧洲的Dolomite亦不遑多让。
可叹照片却无法交待当时万一。
再走数十米，便是俯瞰湖面的Rattlesnake Ledge。
Rattlesnake Lake离西雅图市只有半小时左右车程，
I-90出口32右拐后沿主路开四英里即可。
夏季玩水非常热门，旁边上山的Ledge Trail也可说摩肩接踵。
Ledge Trail本身往返4英里，爬升1200尺，算Moderate。
到Ledge后还可以再走两英里去仍有些许积雪的East Peak。 |

发帖数: 2995 | 2 俺早过了发鱼帖子的兴奋期了，本来也懒得发帖。今年Bass开季在鱼版发的贴，这个帖子权作有头有尾。
不过俺今年的Season恐怕还没结束。
今天，2011年12月22日，多云，西北偏西5-10mph，气温47-52度，水温40.1-41.5度，
HBG5.09，NP 5.4, ShermanCrk 2.08 缓升中。气压晨30.07inch，下午29.9缓降。
临近假期，难得有这么好的天气，昨天晚上就想去给他钓一下，结果开到一半，暴雨倾
盆，电闪雷鸣，春雷？夏雨？这是12月的宾州啊！但是气温46度的时候下雨肯定对水温
升高有好处，当然对鱼的活性也有很大帮助。
今天约的buddy，结果buddy迟到了45分钟，因为鱼证找不到了。然后去到河边已经12点
，第一个confluence，前两天钓20寸的地方，岸上看了一眼，水色不错，雨的影响还没
有开始，只是岸边有点混。在岸上钓了15分钟，水温比较高，因为上游支流的关系，有
43度，但是从标点方位来说，confluence的鱼，流动性太大，昨天的雨已经开始影响，
加上岸边的压力，这个地方的鱼应该处在变迁中，而且也没有长久留鱼的绝对硬件。决

本周末六月四五号我想召集大伙儿去俺心仪已久的Mason Lake，不仅有适合家庭的线路
，而且有段落可供单身小青年们一显身手的比较有挑战性的分支线路，现在只好先押后
一周。
保持传统，还是每周一爬。这周推荐大家去风景很好的Rattlesnake Ledge@North Bend
，孩子去一般也都能上到ledge上，但是上去后千万要注意安全。
集合地点：trailhead（湖边走进去一段平路的厕所边）
集合时间：2点-3点，停车场边上的湖滨，和trailhead的湖边草坪可以玩，所以等人估
计不会太无聊

发帖数: 35 | 5 礼拜6风和日丽，阳光明媚。我们3人搭上船老大的大船，再钓Jeffery’s ledge。
上一次搭船老大朋友的twin engine 30 尺去Jeffery’s ledge,在放下第一勾起的一个
小时内，勾勾上鱼，拉到我虚脱（那是200+尺深呀！）。搞了一小时，实在搞不动了，
于是我提议停下来吃饭。岂不知大家饭后操杆再钓时，好长时间连根鱼毛都没有。原来
我们drifted过了鱼群了。结果大好高潮嘎然鹅止，好不可惜。为此给船老大笑了好久。
这次大家说好坚决不吃饭了，拉不动也得拉。
但是不是每片云彩都下雨的。这次从开头到结尾都没有出现连续拉到手软的情景。有一
次3个人同时有鱼，于是船老大赶紧下锚。结果3个人拉上3个狗鱼，一人一个，把大家
气个不得了。老大赶紧拔锚走人。
好在鱼情慢但持续，我们还是不断地上鱼。在最后1个drift还来了一个小高潮，接连拉
上几个大的好鱼（cod, haddock, hake）。然后我的线接连轻动，我sethook，只见杆
头一沉，接着一直沉着，再没松过。那股张力持续不断，不是一冲一冲的。我知道是个

rattlesnake以前去过两次，这次是有登山会活动外加训练爬snow lake。
1. Garmin GPS上没有rattlesnake lake/ledge/mountain，走法是I90东行到North Bend的32口往南行大约三四个迈处。
2. 有很漂亮的湖，水比初冬多很多，很多玩儿皮艇的。
3. 爬山的路很安全，但灰土很多。悬崖上则很危险，最近摔死过一对男女，山顶上有人说一个摔死在照片那个小石缝里面，怎么也不大相信。说另一个摔死在悬崖边上。我想是不是一个意外接着一个自杀，或者杀人加自杀？
4. 林荫道，无需遮阳，5升水一家人剩了2升。蚊虫不明显。
5. 大概负重20lb，一个半钟头上山(2mi&1150ft?)，中间逗孩子玩儿了会儿。
6. 从悬崖上向东看去极远极高处有一个湖，很令人神往的样子。查了下地图叫cedar lake、masonry pool、chester morse lake，好像可以开车过去，下回去看看。 |

发帖数: 1443 | 12 深水钓Bait可以考虑用circle hook。不需要set hook。你说的feel the bottom是很对
的。除了pollock，Jefferey ledge的其他groundfish都是在底部不往上游的。
试试jigging吧，不用担心bait没了。更active。 |

老威你说的很对，10点之前live well里没有像样的鱼已经没希望了。自己心态完全已
经不一样了。每个点本来就不熟就没信心，还在赶时间，想多hit几个点，但是要知道
每个点都是新点都需要时间去figure out。 这个figure out可以take you days or
years！！
我和boater都是第一次钓kentucky lake， 太大太陌生。没有一个点吃得准，何探一
开始就瞄准大鱼？ 那肯定想先小钓满，再寻求机会。
另外一个搞笑的地方是：flw给30组没有自己船的队伍提供船。 这30条船其实是昨天正
赛没有晋级前10的pro，就是pro带俩大学生钓。规则上说pro只当司机，不会指导。 但
是我们去到两条好ledge，pro带的队都在正中间。 泥马如果俩student不看sonar，那
么他们怎么告诉pro往哪儿开？ 他们一看sonar，上面全是pro过去一周（preshing+两
天正赛）打出来的点啊。 或者说这个完全看pro人好不好，他真想帮你，到了标点，船
怎么position，就已经是大学问了！

周末本来是去Black Peak的，星期五早上North Cascades HWY因为洪水关闭，只能临时
另找地方。Stan和John几个星期前刚刚爬过Guye的Improbable Traverse，就提议带我
们去那里，毕竟他们很熟悉路线。那条路线是5.8的，我在网上查了一下，5.8的move只
有2-3个，是balancy move，而且前后都有piton，（对我来说就意味着实在不行可以
aid了），感觉还是可以试试的。问Stan和John路线的rating有多stiff，一个回答说主
要的concern在approach上的一段class 4的friction的scramble，因为刚下了一个星期
的雨，石头上肯定还很潮，另一个说觉得hiking out is the most difficult part，
貌似都觉得climbing本身并不难，于是大家纷纷表示愿意去Guye。
星期天早上7点在North Bend集合，一起开车过去。停车场就在Guye的west face正下方

发帖数: 1930 | 20 种种机缘巧合，我这周末得以代表学校俱乐部参加在kentucky lake的flw college.
周五请假驱车前往俱乐部老大在kentucky lake 旁边的House。他在这次flw everstart
正赛做pro anguler参赛，可惜成绩并不理想，没有进入第三天的比赛。
要当pro就是要尼玛有钱。 家里的这个房子一年到头基本空着，只有他来打比赛才回来
住， 可以算作fishing专用house. 家里客厅放了几十条鱼竿，地下仓库里还有几十条
鱼竿， 满地的Lure。 后院有自己的dock， 我傍晚吃饭前随便甩了10分钟top water，
中小鱼3条。他说这里你认真钓很多3~4lb的。 自家4条船，最贵的当属他参加比赛用
的bass boat了， 8万多刀。好吧，这都是身外之物，略去。
但是我就是想表达一下农民进城的感觉。 其实开车去kentucky 湖附近，所有钓鱼的人

发帖数: 2995 | 21 Bass周日顶住重重压力还是来同钓，同时带来了fly rod，志在飞上小嘴让委座请吃海
鲜包肥。
很久没有下雨，河水水位比春季水位低3尺，水色gin clear，水温56度。气温58-70度
，西南偏西风15-20mph。cloudy到partly sunny，气压30in平稳。昨天的毛毛细雨根本
也没有给产卵场带来任何水位上升。低水位加清水是很难钓的。产卵场根本没水，只过
脚背。于是转战上游10mi的主河道我的自留地。
水还是照样清浅。第二投上来了今天第一条鱼，16寸，会跳。Bass勤快地甩着fly。很
神奇的fly，靠眼睛配重。
之后开始显现tough，第一个mid river ledge点没鱼了。开始慢慢mover shallow，钓
了一个elevation drop上游，这个是一流的秋冬标点，早春应该也是很厉害的，但是今
天的情况没有咬口。水还是太清了。继续move shallow，rock flat-pool-rock flat
标点，只是flat全在水面上。但是水色stained，和Bass嘀咕这里有鱼。第二投，噔噔

上回说到，Elk Range那几个老大难都还没碰过，话音刚落,机会就来了。几个跟我一样
只有找到有人垫背才敢尝试的WSN凑在一起,组队浩浩荡荡杀奔Aspen而去。为此专门请
了一周假,因为这几个山头的碎石是出了名的,在那儿挂掉的都不是因为摔,而是被别人
踩下来的飞石击中。周间爬山的人少,相对安全些。
行程如下:
周一,开到Aspen，午饭后到Maroon Lake TH,背着包包走到Crater Lake扎营
周二,从South Ridge上Maroon Peak
周三,从Northeast Ridge上North Maroon Peak
周四,从Northeast Ridge上Pyramid Peak
周五,睡个懒觉,收拾东西,慢悠悠地回到Maroon Lake TH，散伙回家。

发帖数: 1443 | 24 原计划的再次南下北卡，因大风取消。正好有个老美渔民朋友组织一个private
charter，就加了个塞。博士囤海钓的童鞋们可能知道，Eastman Dock每年都有一次
charity trip，在pollock鱼情最好的时候，钓上满满一船的鱼送给New Hampshire
Food Bank。我们这些渔民觉得吃顿鱼稀松平常，殊不知即使在米国，也有很多人吃不
起新鲜的海鱼。今天我有幸和一群最hardcore的local老美东北渔民一起，出大力流大
汗，尽了自己作为渔民的一份微薄之力。
今天一共27个die hard的jig fishermen，在Jeffrey’s Ledge，顶着15 kt 的海风，
在阴霾的天气里，冒着雨，一共钓到800多条pollock，fillet出2500 磅鱼肉。 我个人
的贡献是30条pollock， 就算是100lb fillet吧，在这27个人中只是slightly above

发帖数: 1443 | 25 上来看到你又在勤学好问，呵呵。tautog12老兄一看就知道是海钓老手，威力自己的经
验也有很多中肯的地方。
今天时间不多，简单解释一下。明天晚上你可以打电话给我，你出海之前我给你讲讲
New England pollock jigging 的特点。Jigging绝对比bait玩起来有意思，也锻炼体
力。对pollock来说，jigging远比bait有效。今年比较特殊，最近两个星期Jeffery
ledge上的pollock对bait很感兴趣。用herring或mackerel chunk比clam好。如果用
bait的话，high low rig就行，7/0 钩。钓Pollock和cod/haddock bait rig稍有不同
，钩离底部要远点，因为pollock的strike zone比cod和haddock要高。第一个钩离坠
子4-6尺，第二个钩8-10尺。这个高度的rig，最近几个星期在Jefferey Ledge，也就是
Al Gauron要去的那片海域最有效。

All 12 boys and their football coach have been found alive after nine days
missing in caves in Thailand, in a drama that gripped the nation.
They were discovered by two British divers on a ledge in a cavern after a
marathon search operation in the Tham Luang caves in Chiang Rai.
The challenge now will be to extract the party safely, with rising water and

1. contact paper，规格是18英寸宽×6尺长，我在朋友家看到的，买了用觉得很好，
可以反复往墙上贴当黑板给宝宝涂鸦，不会伤墙壁。图片里我贴了两张，够宝宝糟蹋了
，我和她爹也经常在上面画 呵呵 （amazon有卖）
2. picture ledge, ikea的，两种规格21寸（$9.99）和45寸($14.99)
嫌上面的display的书架贵的，可以用这种ledge钉墙上，小娃能够到的高度钉几层，一
样好用而且便宜。我找到这种ledge的时候书架已经买了一大堆了，所以就当装饰架了
，摆些娃的涂鸦作品、她的爱吧物、放照片也行。我研究playroom装饰时 还看到有人
家把整面墙钉上这种书架，然后把娃的小车collection都摆上面，一排排的好壮观啊
3.Magnetic board, Ikea的。买了挺长时间了，老公昨天才装上，今天我就来献宝 呵
呵。规格是37×78cm，我买了4块，原来娃这些有吸力的小玩意都是贴冰箱上，我不想

发帖数: 1443 | 32 离岸3小时航程以内基本上已近没有大群的cod了。往远点，Wildcat knoll，Cashes
ledge，Fippennies Ledge， Jeffery's bank （不是Jeffery's ledge），这些地方
相对来说还没有被过度捕捞。如果再往远走，到Canadian Fence line，那就是未开发
的原始地带，cod和春天的crappie一样好钓。
不过这样的long range trip需要天气配合。这个周末又泡汤了。据说cape cod 外侧东
南外海发现winter cod鱼群。本想出动，可惜大风大浪，高达29尺。

发帖数: 379 | 33 星期六早上五点出发，七点到Leavenworth的加油站集合，一起开车到6.1 miles的
trailhead。Leader开了辆BMW的敞篷跑车，有个性。Trailhead那新盖了个小房子，马
路对面有片新开的停车场，以后再找不到营地可以考虑去那里蹭过夜。过了桥之后右转
，挨着就是个三叉路口，沿着中间那个走几步，马上右边就是上山的trail。似乎是在
修路，几条大路中间都停着施工车，把路给堵上了，倒是不容易走错。在停车场抬头就
能看到Yellowjacket Tower了，看着倒不是很远，尖尖的一个山峰。刚开始的那段
trail比较平，两侧鲜花盛开，最多的就是一串串紫色的小花，都开满了。很快路就陡
了起来，大概1 mile上升1500 ft，不过路况非常好，都是很结实的土路，个别地方要
翻个树枝、爬点石头什么的。好几个地方都看到了mountain goat，不过也许是同一只。
我一直以为mountain goat和Ibex是同一种生物、生活在不同的大陆，就跟白种人、黄
种人一样，不过leader一定说他们是两种不同的羊，好吧…

发帖数: 1071 | 34 lake o’hara我们玩了6,7个小时，都是在treeline上，沿途看到脚下好几处瀑布，听
到好多流水声音，都没有停下来细看，看得都是很宏观的，细节基本没有，下次要补上
，走些treeline下的trail, 看看野花流水苍苔红石。
另外熊都是忽悠大家的，其实整个yoho才10几头棕熊，哪里那么容易碰到，倒是要当心
头上峭壁上山石，我们前面就落下过一块，因为alpine loop很多地段是在峭壁上凿出
来，所以叫huber ledge,yukness ledge, 石头滚下来很容易砸头上。科大女生和一个

其实那里也不原始，每天日客加过夜，有一百七十人呢。主要有3类，1类有hiking
passion的老年人，2类是大学生，3类国际游客，不少日本德国英国人。没看到专门去
摄影的

不过这个解法忽略了一个已知条件，就是一开始会告诉你一个是1的点的坐标。
我的想法是这样的，从最开始的那个点开始，在一行内往左往右延伸，找到1的左右边
界，记录下来到(LEdge, REdge)。
然后分别往上和往下依次check另外的行，看LEdge和REdge对应的点是否是1. 如果是1
，将
那一
侧继续往外延伸，更新相应edge值。否则不变。
同样对各列操作，复杂度应该是O(m+n) + O(m+n) = O(m+n) |

应的位置来确定是不是要在这一行延伸的话，会miss掉一些行。比如下面这个例子

如果是从第一行开始，那么第一次得到左边届 Ledge 是3，再往下check的时候，会
miss掉第二行和第三行左边的1

景色很美. 个人体会:
Ledges is most scary part for me because it is the first part, and it is first
time I walk in such steep ledges. however, it is become not that bad on the
way back.
Trough: phsically chanlenging, need to take break every 10 minutes, felt
exhausted, but not tmidating.
Narrows: easiest part among the four, even it is narrow. and it is short.
Homestrech: nobody would return since you make that far. it is similar as
Trough |

峭壁，涂在岩石上的醒目的红色和黄色的“牛眼”散布其中指示
着路线，没走几步，就亲眼看到好几个人开始往回，那时候心里
怪怪的。arthurd和Brabit 已经走到前面了，我开始犹豫，因为
我的脚已经疼的不敢用力，就算我能坚持过了这段，后面仍有好
多路程，不要说还要下山，可是心里又非常不甘，觉得自己体力
精神都做好准备了，又有这么好的伙伴，如何能错过这样的机会，
最后还是登顶的念头占了上风，我开始继续往前。中途有一个地
方非常可怕，估计路线设计者也是考虑到难度才装上了2道钢筋，
否则无法想象。那一刻，看着钢筋下面光滑的峭壁，我真的以为
自己过不去了。arthurd和Brabit给了我很大的鼓励。说起来好
笑，过去之后我一路都在想回来的时候我怎么办，所以只要路上

本来以为Keyhole的上面是块平地，上去以后倒吸一口凉气，原来就是在山脊上的那么窄
窄一条，另一侧就是悬崖，找个坐的地方都困难。在Keyhole稍事休息，就开始了登顶前
的挑战。从Keyhole到Summit, 是勇敢者的游戏，随时有人中途退却，或因为恐惧，或因
为疲惫。在登上Keyhole之前曾遇到一个美国女孩，从上面下来，我们问她登顶了没有，
她说“I am afraid of height. That’s not for me.” 听得我心里直打鼓。自己恐高
得这么厉害，这个勇敢者的游戏，自己到底能不能玩？
从Keyhole 开始的第一段路，叫做Ledge,一路多半是悬崖边上的窄窄小路。

我把身子紧紧地贴着内侧的石壁，两手死死的扒住石头，一步一步的向前挪。 紧张和疲
惫使得我的双腿酸痛无比。
走不多久，遇到了一处无比险峻的所在，一块大石横在路中间，过往的人需要从光溜溜的
石头上爬过去，石头的下面就是悬崖。大概是前人意识到了这里的险峻，大石下方和中部
各钉了一根铁钎，好让经过的人手脚有所依托。想起下山的那个美国女 |

Hiker falls to death in Buckskin Gulch
On July 24, 2011, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a
hiker was found deceased in Buckskin Gulch near the confluence with Wire
Pass. Hikers stumbled upon the man, later identified as Bo Tian, 36, of San
Jose, California. Tian had a permit to hike The Wave, a popular day hike
area south of the Utah border in the BLM-administered Paria Wilderness area.

Rattlesnake Lake Park玩儿怎么区分？有人去那里看过说的确没有发现需要Pass的标
记，但是这不表示那里就没有标记，更不表示ranger就不会在那里开罚单。
