发帖数: 8461 | 1 Stop Leak这玩艺,我研究过一些,把结论跟大家分享下:
对于engine oil、transmission、power steering的stop leak，我个人是不推荐使用
的。这些stop leak的主要原理是用小分子的油去使得橡胶密封圈吸胀导致体积扩大，
起到重新密封的作用。所以这些stop leak只能在由于橡胶密封圈的老化（硬化）导致
的leak上起作用。而这些stop leak所引起的后果却是极其严重的。因为这些液体不是
智能的，所以系统里的所有橡胶圈都会被吸涨，不管好的坏的。而吸涨之后的橡胶圈，
如果下次再漏，则必须更换，stop leak就不会再起作用了，而更换的时候就会出现因
为吸涨导致和钢铁部件结合过于紧密无法分开，即使分开也无法把旧的密封材料清洁干
净的情况。所以这些stop leak最适合那些车很老，想就和一下然后开段时间就卖了的
。对新一些的车或者车主还想长期keep车的，最好还是规规矩矩修。
radiator也有stop leak，主要针对一些有crack的radiator，能把小裂缝赌住，我在几

roof balcony with a drain。inspector说这是个roof leak，问题可大可小，必须把
卧室ceiling打一个洞进去看。他拿测湿度的仪器在stain附近测了一圈，说是干的，因

1，不要加在high mileage engine oil里面，因为这种油里面已经
含有一定比例的oil stop leak。加在普通机油里面就可以了。
2，engine oil stop leak不能真正修复leak，只能使seals, gaskets
略微膨胀一些，如果漏得很少，可能能暂停漏油，漏得厉害效果不大。
3，如果漏得多，车子又经常要开，可以先试用一小瓶oil stop leak,
如果1000迈以内还不能缓解，最好去彻底修好。 |

自从约两年前ENGINE LIGHT就一直亮,CODE: P0171, P0401, P1130, P1133.外加一个
EXHAUST LEAK.车巨响，一直没修，直到现在ＩＮＳＰＥＣＴＩＯＮ了．开始ＤＩＹ修：
分析：Ｐ０１７１可能与ＥＸＨＡＵＳT LEAK 有关.先修EXHAUST LEAK.检查发现FLEX
PIPE LEAK.干脆就买了FRONT PIPE+FLEX PIPE+CAT CONVERTER一套全换.换好后,车不再
象坦克一样响了,同时还将BANK1 FRONT SENSOR取下来,用TB CLEANER清洁了一下,如果
1130,1133再出现就准备换.搞完.清CODE.过了一段时间灯亮,只剩下P0401. EGR
Insufficient Flow. Google,发现EGR SYSTEM,一共三个部分:EGR VALVE, EGR VACUUM
SWITCH VALVE.一般地说,EGR VALVE最不可能坏,按以下方法测试:

加进去， 然后再加机油？
stop leak 上的说明不清不楚，说在两次换油的中间加，每瓶stop leak可以“伺候”
3qt的机油，不知其意。

could be the radiator itself.
You can try a stop leak product first if leak is small/slow.
Replace the leaking part is the only good way to fix it. |

。head gasket有微漏，如果天天开，coolant大概两周加一次500ml左右。请问像这样
head gasket leak不是太严重的，一直不修会有什么其他 不良影响，除了一直要加
coolant以外。

第一次出现LEAK,访客请的维修公司STOP LEAK氟利昂，一共charge了700。一个多月后

On a 2001, you don`t have the CAS at the end of the valve cover, instead,
you have a black/brown color plug there, just at the end of the exhaust cam
shaft, close to the firewall. It leaked on mine. you can put your finger
there to see if you get some fresh oil there. Remember to do this when the
car is cold or you will be burned. If it leaks, you can buy a new one online
for around 10 bucks or you can pull the old one out and put some silicone
on it and see if it still leaks.

heating (some times randomly); white smoke from tail pipe; leaking coolant;
coolant did not go back to radiator from reservoir tank etc.
Replacing HG is very expensive, $1k for most cars. Two weeks ago,I fixed my
leaking HG for only $60 by using Steel Seal+ my own labor. You can Google

goes by, water condensation from A/C will drip down to the transfer case and
cause the corrosion on drive shaft spindle, which will lead to slippage.
Depending on water or oil, If dealer told you it's the transfer case leak,
then it should be oil leak (gear-oil: 75W90), and you can ask them to show

，对O-ring漏我觉得并不实用，换O-ring比用leak sealant还便宜，管子漏了leak

发帖数: 1359 | 46 log是让你用来分析系统到底在做什么，很多时候memory leak发生在一些特定的边界条
件没处理的情况下面。那么你的log就要记录有些边界条件发生了。那么在持续memory
leak的时候，你就能看到log里面有连续的边界条件发生。
code review不是让你把整个系统review。你应该假设之前系统的release没有memory
leak，新增代码导致的问题。这个假设绝大多数情况是成立的。那么你分析log，知道
系统一直在run哪些模块，再去看那些模块里面新增代码是否有问题。
至于你说的面试的人明显不满意，是不是你理解错人家意思了啊？
这么说吧，不中断程序，那是否允许你备份数据然后在别的机器上run&debug这个程序
？如果可以，重载new/malloc，delete/free，把所有memory 操作&地址log出来，一比
较就知道哪些没释放了。
或者，直接用代码分析工具分析。 |

going to the attic. There would be water marks on the plywood near the
skylight. There are two possible reasons for skylight to leak: 1. The
flashing that covers the joint between skylight and roofing is leaking. That
does not need replace the skylight. Just fix the flashing is fine. 2. There
are leaks between the glass and skylight frame. The will require replace

发帖数: 185 | 48 其实也不是很严重的leak，就是在attic里cover patio上面靠近烟筒的地方发现了一小
摊水迹，做inspection的时候inspector发现的，他说是chimney周围有点小leak，于是
seller就找了一个repair company修了，close的当天事情多，也没有上去亲自看。。
结果上星期我爬attic走电视cable线时，发现那里还是一滩水迹，我找了半天也没有看
见leak的地方。那个有水迹的地方和状态与我们做inspection的时候一模一样，我现在
就怀疑他们到底修了没有，我们手上有他们修理的receipt，上面写着他们收了245刀修
理费。昨天我们打给那个repair公司问他们，接电话的lady说她觉得是因为最近的
thunderstorm造成的，我就说你们不来看怎么就肯定是thunderstorm？她说今天派个人
来看看。。。
说的有点啰嗦，现在的问题就是我们是不是一点办法也没有，他们就算来了说是新伤，

准备买这个房子，inpector 建议如下：

房检是在storm sandy过后的一天做的，查出不少水的问题，其中有两处roof leaking
的问题。请看附图（图在楼下），房检师认为图一所示的leak是新的，而图二所示的
leak是老的。
经过协商，seller答应修，结果今天receipt来了，也不是真的receipt,用的是roofing
公司proposal的表格，草草几个字：patched 2 nail holes with ice + water
banner, $100.
我现在火很大，想请这里有经验的人帮我看看，是不是seller在糊弄我。
